DT-SACCO based in Nairobi is in the process of recruiting to fill the following
position:
Business Development Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
·
Creation of business development
strategy for the Sacco.
·
Product development and review.
·
Co-ordinate and oversee the
development of Sacco’s income generating services.
·
Identify, explore and develop
appropriate new business opportunities for the Sacco – in both income
generating and service provision areas.
·
Preparing proposals and
presentations.
·
Implement and manage the Sacco brand
strategy.
·
Create awareness on new and existing
products.
·
Ensure high level of member service
to ensure members loyalty and retention.
·
Marketing and selling the society’s
products to the members and potential members
Minimum Qualification
·
Bachelor of Commerce Degree in
Marketing or its equivalent from a recognized university
·
Has served as a Business Development
Manager or in comparable position with similar responsibilities in a SACCO or
in like organizations for a minimum of three (3) years.
·
Demonstrated ability to develop new
business opportunities and improve the profitability and competitive
performance of the business.
·
Demonstrated ability to increase
productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches and departmental
contribution.
·
Good leadership, communication and
interpersonal skills
Branch Manager
3 Positions
Will
be generally responsible for coordinating day to day branch operations and
business growth at the branch.
Duties and Responsibilities
·
Ensure Branch profitability through
growth of loans and commissions
·
Aggressive marketing to ensure growth
of Branch membership
·
Prepare Branch Management reports as
per the stipulated timelines
·
Management of risks- ensure there is
proper internal controls.
·
Ensure adherence to the laid down
policies.
·
Implementation of staff targets and
ensuring that the targets are met.
·
Staff management- maintain staff
discipline, supervision, training, coaching and development.
·
Ensure that all required branch
reconciliations are done accurately and in a timely manner.
·
Advise the CEO in matters of the
branch and his/ her region.
·
Ensure Good customer service at the
branch at all times to ensure member satisfaction and retention.
·
Assist the marketing team to
identifying customer need to aid in developing attractive products and
services.
·
Enhance Loan recoveries to ensure low
Branch PAR.
·
Controls utilization of, and ensuring
proper maintenance and custody of all society assets at the branch.
·
Liaising with function heads and
other relevant stakeholders on issues relating to the branch.
Qualifications
·
Bachelor degree in Business
Administration, Finance, marketing or its equivalent.
·
Professional qualification and
membership of a professional body.
·
A minimum of five (5) years of
working experience in a similar set up (two must be in a management level).
·
Strong interpersonal skills with
excellent communications and presentation skills.
·
Ability to focus and execute on
defined projects, with the potential to grow the business.
