Job Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator, the Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of quality assurance programmes and ensuring that quality systems are maintained in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 Standards.
Responsibilities
·         Coordinating quality systems audits
·         Participating in the formulation of quality assurance policies for the hospital
·         Provide oversight on risk management of the institution
·         Coordinating training on quality systems
·         Preparing reports on risk and quality related issues.
·         Initiating quality systems research in the hospital
·         Coordinating activities of risk management and quality assurance officers.
·         Assisting departments in developing risk registers
Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Research Methods, Nursing, Public Health, Health Management or Quality Management or any health related field.
·         Experience in Quality Assurance matters.
·         A certificate in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditors course will be an added advantage.
·         Certificate in computer operations from a recognized institution.

Medical Specialist II (Paediatric Cardiology)

Job purpose
Reporting to the Chief Medical Specialist/Head of Department, the Medical Specialist II (Paediatric Cardiologist) will be expected to take full responsibility for patients under his/her care.
Responsibilities
·         Reviewing patients and instructing in writing all the recommendations;
·         Undertaking “First-on-Call” duties including clerking, investigating and managing patients.
·         Conducting weekly clinic and theatre days.
·         Training, supervising and mentoring Medical Officers, Medical Intern and other students.
·         Performing emergency surgeries.
·         Undertaking medico-legal duties including filling of P.3 forms, court attendance and performing post mortems.
·         Undertaking medical examinations and preparing Medical Board Proceedings;
·         Carrying out community diagnosis, care and treatment.
·         Ensuring data and information is collected, transmitted and utilized to benefit of the customer and service provider.

Qualifications
·         Masters Degree in Paediatrics from the University of Nairobi or any other recognized University.
·         Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) degree from a recognized institution by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
·         Fellowship training in Paediatric Cardiology or proven interest in Paediatric Cardiology sub-speciality.
·         Training in Interventional cardiology will be an added advantage.
·         Proven experience of not less than one (1) year at the level of Medical Specialist.

Senior Superintending Engineer (Electrical)

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Facilities and Services, the Senior Superintending Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for planning and implementation of electrical services in the Hospital.
Responsibilities
·         Coordinating, controlling and directing of electrical and plants section of Engineering Department.
·         Developing work plan and budget for the department and submission for approval.
·         Participating in procurement of goods, works and services.
·         Managing engineering inventories, developing and implementing PPM schedules for equipment and services.
·         Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual departmental reports.
·         Preparing draft board management papers for approval.
·         Identifying and analyzing training needs for departmental staff.
·         Checking and recommending for approval of engineering consultants, designs, evaluation, certifying and recommending fees by consultants.

Responsibilities
·         Formulating and reviewing administrative policies, procedures and guidelines.
·         Monitoring income and expenditure trends.
·         Coordinating and maintaining building and equipment.
·         Managing the inventory of assets.
·         Ensuring timely payment of bills for common services.

Chief Human Resource Officer I
Job purpose
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Human Resource, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in the planning, coordination, organization and general Human Resource management services in the hospital.
Responsibilities
·         Implementing human resource management policies, procedures, processes and guidelines.
·         Analyzing utilization of human resources in the Hospital and advising on proper deployment.
·         Interpreting and implementing human resource management regulations, rules and procedures.
·         Managing payroll and human resource management records and the compliment control.
·         Handling labour relations and ensuring compliance with the Kenya Labour Laws and Practices.
·         Coordinating Human resource management activities/processes in the Hospital including recruitment and retention, promotion, placements/deployments, capacity development of all staff, employee relations/staff welfare, discipline, remuneration; Planning and budgeting for all Human Resource activities and programmes.

Qualifications

Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Planning & Strategy, the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager will be responsible for coordinating all Monitoring & Evaluation related activities and providing constant feedback to the Board of Management, Technical and Program Teams.
Responsibilities
·         Providing leadership in coordinating the Hospital budget process.
·         Overseeing the establishing and managing a performance monitoring and evaluation framework for all programmes and projects in the Hospital.
·         Overseeing the conduct of mid-term and post-programme evaluations and the preparation of periodic progress reports on programmes, projects and strategies.
·         Directing analysis of M&E findings, best practices and lessons learned and the dissemination of same to departments/units.
·         Supporting Management in employing an impact and evidence-based approach to working so that lessons learnt are implemented in future plans and priorities.
·         Overseeing the collection and provision of planning data for the formulation of the Hospitals development strategies.
·         Leading in monitoring the implementation of Strategic Plan, Annual Operational Plan and Performance Contract and compiling of periodic reports.
·         Coordinating the preparation of Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and expenditure review reports.
·         Monitoring resource utilization to ensure resources are utilized efficiently and in line with the approved budget and work-plans.
·         Spearheading and coordinating consolidation of the Hospital’s resource mobilization needs and prioritize resource mobilization requirements.

Qualifications
·         A Masters Degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Monitoring &Evaluation, Demographics techniques, operation research, survey techniques, Strategy or relevant field from the recognized University.
·         A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Monitoring &Evaluation, Demographics techniques, operation research, survey techniques, Strategy or relevant field from the recognized University.
·         A minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience and at least three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
·         A certificate in Leadership/Management course.
·         Evidence of proficiency and knowledge in Computer Applications and statistical packages.
·         Certificate in monitoring and evaluation course not lasting less than four (4) weeks.
