Purpose of the job
·
Administer the relevant Tax Acts,
·
Assist management in Field
Enforcement, Factory Control, Case Management, Licensing, and Strategy
Reporting
·
Ensure efficient and effective
management of resources.
Responsibilities
·
Collate and disseminate information
through reports
·
Implementation of strategic
operational plans
·
Coordination of enforcement field
operations
·
Provide through progress reporting
continuous analysis of the achievements, facilitate performance review,
evaluation of staff and utilization of resources
·
Supporting officers on the
development and review of changes in the law for the management of briefs of
evidence and Court Briefs
·
Monitoring of Factories and Control
of excise stamps
·
Oversee the efficient and effective
management of a small station/sub-sectors;
·
Prepare relevant operational reports.
Skills required
·
A degree from a recognized
University;
·
Must have a Training in Tax and
Customs Administration
·
Must have a thorough knowledge and
experience on the application of the relevant Tax Acts,
·
At least five (5) years of
progressive experience in surveillance, intelligence, prosecution, case
management and Licensing, and two (2) years at a supervisor level
·
Must be versatile and be able to
handle Ad-hoc assignments for long hours including working with other agencies
·
Experience in dealing with Field
Enforcement Tools will be an added advantage
·
Experience in Interagency will be an
added advantage

Purpose of the job

·
Supervise Field Enforcement, Factory
Control, and Case Management
·
Preparation of management and
operational reports
Responsibilities
·
Synthesize data and feedback from
users, clients, and management
·
Supervise Field Inspections, Field
Operations, Factory Controls, Case Management. Licensing and Operations
·
Coordinate all licensing and
registration of excise application.
·
Prepare cases for compounding;
·
Perform desk training duties;
·
Prepare relevant and submit
operational reports.
Skills required
·
Must have a degree from a recognised
University
·
Must have a Training in Tax and
Customs Administration
·
Must have adequate knowledge and
experience on the application of the relevant Tax Acts, policies and
operational procedures.
·
At least three (3) progressive work
experience in Intelligence gathering, enforcement and Surveillance
·
Hands on experience in dealing with
field enforcement tools
·
Working in interagency operations
will be an added advantage

Responsibilities
·
Gathering market Surveillance
intelligence and information
·
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly
intelligence related flash reports on all intelligence gathered
·
Carrying out covert and over field
operations geared towards tax collection
·
Enforcing compliance with Tax laws
·
Monitoring compliance with import and
export regulations
·
Sensitize taxpayers;
·
Prepare relevant operational reports
·
Any other duties as may be assigned.
Skills required
·
A degree from a recognized University
·
Training in Tax laws will be an added
advantage
