and Trans-Nzoia.

Legal Officer

Key responsibilities and
accountabilities
Reporting to the Head of Commercial
and Corporate Affairs, the Legal Officer shall perform the following
responsibilities;

Responsible for all matters relating
to conveyance and litigation of the company.
·
Drafting of agreements, contracts,
leases and maintaining records of such transactions
·
Liaising with external legal
advocates on legal matters affecting the company
·
Verifying all contracts agreements,
agreements, leases in which the company enters into to ensure compliance
·
Representing the company in legal
issues
·
Instituting legal procedures in debt
collection
·
Continuously review the laws as they
come to ensure that the new compliance issues are captured and complied with.
·
Monitor contractual compliance by the
third Parties with whom the Company has contractual relationship.
·
Ensure the maintenance and update the
laws of Kenya, regulations, ordinances, policy manuals and distribute all
supplements to designated recipients.
·
Reviewing the Company’s Policies and
Procedures, Standard Documentation including Contract, HR and Procurement forms
to ensure that conform to the various legal and regulatory
·
Assisting in drafting board papers
relating to legal issues
Minimum Qualification and Experience
i) Degree in Law from recognized
University
ii) Post graduate diploma from the
Kenya School of law
iii) Two years experience at a
corporate level.
iv) Institute of certified public
secretary (ICPS) membership will be an added advantage
Customer Relations Officer

Key responsibilities and
accountabilities
Reporting to the Commercial and
Corporate Affairs Manager, the Customer Relations manager shall undertake the
following duties:

Formulate and execute communications
and public relations company strategies
·
Develop strategies and tools for
improving customer services in the company
·
Develop and monitor the
implementation of the company customer service charter
·
Promote stakeholder/public
participation in the provision of water services through customer engagement
·
Co-ordinate divisional and corporate
wide system purchases, implementation and upgrade
·
Manage the skills development for
customer care staff to ensure that training needs are properly identified and
appropriate training is arranged
·
Manage and conduct performance
management reviews for the department
·
Formulate and execute the company’s
advertising program
·
Assist develop policy papers on
issues of water services
·
Manage departmental budget
·
With the HR department develop
effective internal communication to inform employees of various company events
·
Custodian of company public address
systems_inventory and publications
Minimum Qualification and Experience
·
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass
Communication or Public Relations.
·
Member of a professional body in a
good standing
·
Exceptional writing/editing skills
·
Full understanding of needs and media
relationship
·
5 years’ experience in a similar
position or three years in middle management.
