Rd & Juja Mall along Thika Rd. We are seeking to recruit capable, motivated
and resolute professional to fill the position of Medical Officer.
Job Overview
Working
closely with the Consultants, Pharm technologist, Lab Technologist, Nurses,
Community Oral Health Officer, Nutritionist and others in ensuring quality
health services to the Patients.
Responsibilities
·
Receive and clerk patients; initiate
and monitor treatment.
·
Conduct medical procedures after
getting the consent from patients or their attendants.
·
Check and authorize all diagnostic
requisition slips at the medical center.
·
Assess patients as required and write
detailed reports in the case notes.
·
Order and interpret diagnostic tests;
and provide information regarding patient conditions whenever required; communicate
effectively with patients and clients.
·
Maintain professional standards in
relation to confidentiality and ethics; abide by the Kenyan Medical
·
Practitioners and Dentist Board
regulations.
·
Ensuring compliance with legal
requirements.
·
Providing input in various internal
committee meetings on matters relating to clinical services e.g. Quality
assurance, infection control, MAC etc.
·
Participate in developing and
monitoring implementation of policies and procedures.
Qualifications
·
Degree in Medicine from a recognized
University.
·
Be registered with Kenya Medical
Practitioners and Dentist Board.
·
Have a current Indemnity cover of
minimum Ksh 1m.
·
Ability to work with minimum
supervision.
·
Must be computer literate;
experienced using an HMIS clerking/managing patients.
·
Must be focused on developing
professional expertise and knowledge by actively engaging in continuing
professional education and development.

Dentist.
Job Overview
Leads
the dental Unit at Caremax to provide high quality oral health services in an
efficient manner.
Responsibilities
·
Diagnose and provide appropriate
dental treatment to patients, including extraction of teeth, fillings, root
canal treatment, minor oral surgery procedures, and prosthetic dentistry.
·
Educate clients on the importance of
maintaining proper oral hygiene and health.
·
Prescribe medications as needed and
provide the appropriate follow up curative treatment.
·
Carefully document all medications,
diagnoses, treatments and consultations
·
Supervise the work of dental
assistant.
·
Prepare regular reports and present
to management including plans to improve service delivery.
·
Work collaboratively with other
departments at Caremax for the benefit of the clients.
·
Maintains professional and technical
knowledge by attending CMEs and establishing personal networks.
Qualifications
·
Bachelor of Dental of Dental Surgery
(BDS) degree or equivalent from a reputable university
·
Registration with the Kenya Medical
and Dental Practitioners Board of Kenya
·
Current (2019) practicing certificate
and a letter of good standing
·
At least 2 years’ relevant clinical
experience.
·
Malpractice liability insurance
·
Friendly and professional demeanor; a
good communicator.
