Job Summary
The Office Assistant shall report to the Assistant Manager, Administration. The incumbent will ensure the smooth delivery of mail and official documents internally and externally, supervision of office cleanliness, and providing organized customer care services
Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
·         Collecting and delivering official documents and files externally and internally
·         Collecting and delivering mails externally and internally
·         Opening the office and supervise its general cleaning
·         Serving tea and hot water to the offices of General Managers and Deputy General Managers
·         Collecting and deliver Newspaper to the offices
·         Daily delivering of attendance registers to Human Resource Department
·         Facilitating in the arrangement of the Corporation’s Management and Board meetings e.g. ensuring stationery and water is available in the meeting area
·         Delivering Board files
·         Relieving duties at the reception
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
·         One (1) year relevant experience in a similar position
·         A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C -.
·         A valid BCE driving license without any current endorsement(s).
·         Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.

Compliance With Chapter Six (6) Of The Constitution Of Kenya
Applicants are required to immediately initiate self-clearance (Comply with Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya) from: –
·         Kenya Revenue Authority (Tax Compliance Certificate)
·         Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
·         Department of Criminal Investigation (Certificate of Good Conduct)
·         Higher Education Loans Board
·         A Credit Reference Bureau
