Job summary
This
is a leadership role that leads the design of Data architecture and Data
governance processes within an environment with diverse and dynamic Data
sources and platforms
This
position has responsibility for improving Data availability, accessibility,
quality and utilization as well as managing protection of sensitive Data and
information assets.
Responsibilities
Data Governance
·
Establish practices and procedures
that ensure adherence to the Data governance framework for Data policies,
standards and practices, both at the business and corporate levels, to achieve
the required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet overall
business needs.

Provide vision, expertise, and long
range planning in enterprise Data architecture, Data integration, master Data
management, enterprise Data governance to support advanced analytics &
Business Intelligence.

Develop & maintain inventory of
the enterprise Data maps, including authoritative systems, owners
·
Facilitate the development and
implementation of Data integrity standards, Data protection standards and
adoption requirements across the enterprise
·
Build and maintain a detailed profile
of KRA core systems and Data assets held in these systems, as well as the teams
and processes that use them.

Create and maintain a framework for
corporate Data ownership, accountability and access
·
Manage access and provisioning of
Data from the domain; define an access permission plan, monitor distribution of
Data from the domain, approve Data provisioning to authorized users, support
Data consumers as subject matter expert, negotiate Data Service Agreements and
ensure Data access and provisioning comply with standards and controls

Identify and find sources of third
party Data needed to enhance Data quality

Identify improvements through
reducing Data redundancy and appropriate Data reuse

Ensure alignment to relevant

Responsibilities
Provide
leadership in quality management programme implementation in order to attain
and maintain quality standards in the Authority.
Tasks and outputs

Provide leadership in sustaining of
the Authority’s ISO Certification.

Develop work-plans and align them to

Coordinate monitoring and evaluation
of the quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with requirements

Develop system use cases and system
design specifications
·
Develops new or enhance existing
systems components including internal and external integrations based on agreed
requirements.
·
Develops standard and adhoc reports
and data management scripts as requested.
·
Ensures that the approved coding
standards are consistently applied in every component developed
·
Conducts unit testing of developed
components based on agreed quality criteria.
·
Prepare documentations (User manuals,
Technical manuals, deployment instructions, roll back instructions, Issue and
Tickets Logs etc) to ensure that they meet set quality criteria for each
component.
·
Should be able to package the various
components of the solutions being developed.
·
Participates in quality review
meetings for the system
·
Provide guidance on to the technical
