Senior Lecturer, Community Development
Program
(One Post)
Qualifications and Experience
Must have:
·
A PhD or equivalent degree
qualification in Community Development or Development Studies or Environmental
and Community Development (Master’s degree qualifications in special cases may
be considered) from an accredited and recognized university;
·
At least three (3) years of teaching
experience at the university level as a Lecturer or six (6) years
research/industry experience;
·
A minimum of thirty two (32)
publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty four
(24) should be from refereed scholarly journals;
·
Supervised at least three (3)
postgraduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent;
·
Registered with the relevant
professional body (where applicable); and
·
Demonstrated professional/consulting,
administrative skills and other community engagement or contributions to the university
or society at large.
Lecturer, Community Development Program
(One Post)
Qualifications and Experience
Must have:
·
Earned a PhD or equivalent degree
qualification in Community Development or Development studies or Environment
and Community Development from a recognized/accredited university; and be
registered or registrable with the relevant professional body (optional);
OR
·
A Master’s degree in Community
Development or Development studies or Environmental and Community Development
from an accredited and recognized university, with at least three (3) years
teaching experience at the university level or in research or in industry; and
·
A minimum of 24 publication points,
of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers; and
·
Registered with the relevant
professional body (optional).
·
Demonstrated professional/consulting,
administrative and other community engagement or contributions to the
university or society at large.
Senior Lecturer, Criminal Justice and
Security Studies
(One Post)
Qualifications and Experience
Must have:
·
A PhD or equivalent degree
qualification in Criminal Justice and Security Studies, or Criminology and
Security management studies, Policing and Security Studies (Master’s degree
qualifications in special cases may be considered) from an accredited and
recognized university;
·
At least three (3) years of teaching
experience at the university level as a Lecturer or six (6) years
research/industry experience;
·

A Master’s degree in Criminal Justice
and Security Studies, or Criminology and Security management studies, Policing
and Security Studies from an accredited and recognized university, with at
least three (3) years teaching experience at the university level or in
research or in industry; and
·
A minimum of 24 publication points,
of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers; and
·
Registered with the relevant
professional body (optional).
·
Demonstrated professional/consulting,
administrative and other community engagement or contributions to the
university or society at large.
