Reporting to the Finance & ICT Director, the ICT Manager will be responsible for planning, development, deployment and provision of Information communication and technology services in support of the organization’s business objectives.
Qualifications & experience required
1. Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Information Technology from a recognized Institution.
2. Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
3. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience, three (3) years at a Chief Officers level or the equivalent.
4. Professional certification such as Certified Computer Network Professional (CCNP), CCNA, MCSE, MCSA, MCSD, Oracle Certified Database administrator OCDBA, Microsoft Certified databases Administrator MCDBA or their equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
5. Member of an ICT professional body.
6. Demonstrated good performance and innovation.

Managing Director & CEO Division
Security & Integrity Department
Security & Integrity Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director & CEO, the jobholder will be responsible for managing Corporate Security and Integrity functions through prevention, deterrence, delay and detection of security breaches in all KenGen installations.
The role will also be responsible for developing strategies for the promotion of integrity and ethical behaviour within the organization.
Qualifications & Experience Required
The ideal candidate should have:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences/security or related tield.
·         Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
·         At least five (5) years relevant working experience in a busy Security and Integrity environment, three (3) of which must be at a Chief Officer level or the equivalent.
·         Relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
·         Security certifications from government (Military or Police) or international Security Institutions
·         Membership to International Security bodies (IE American Society for Industrial Security- USA, International Security Management Institute – UK)

Community Relations Department
Community Relations Manager

Reporting to Corporate & Regulatory Services Director, the job holder is responsible for building relations with communities and stakeholders in areas of KenGen operations.
The role also entails developing strategies and programs for community and stakeholders engagement.
Qualifications & experience required
The ideal candidate should have:
i. Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences or the equivalent.
ii. Relevant Masters qualification will be an added advantage.
iii. Post graduate diploma In community development
iv. Skills or professional training in Arbitration, Mediation, Conflict Resolution and Management, Public Relations or Negotiation skills
v. At least 5 years’ experience in handling community related issues and social safeguards within diverse regions for a large organization, three (3) of which should be at Chief Officers level or the equivalent.
