Terms
of Service
The
successful candidate will be on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service. The
Salary for this position will range from Kshs.12, 370/= to 16,500/= excluding
allowances
Responsibilities
·
Driving a motor vehicle as
authorized;
·
Carrying out routine checks on the
vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical and brake systems, tyre pressure, etc.
·
Detecting and reporting
malfunctioning of vehicle systems;
·
Maintaining of work ticket(s) for
vehicle (s) assigned;
·
Ensuring security and safety for the
vehicle on and off the road;
·
Overseeing safety of the passengers
and /or goods therein; and
·
Maintaining cleanliness of the
vehicle.
Requirements
·
Kenya Certificate of Secondary
Education (KCSE) mean grade of D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification;
·
Valid driving license free from any
current endorsement(s) for class(es) of vehicle(s) an officer is required to
drive;
·
First-Aid Certificate lasting not
less than one (1) week at St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and
Building technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized Institution;
·
Passed Suitability Test for Drivers
Grade III,
·
Passed Practical Test for Drivers
conducted by the relevant Ministry/Departments;
·
Valid Certificate of Good conduct
from the Kenya Police; and
·
At least two (2) years driving experience.
·
In addition, candidates must provide
Certificate of Good Conduct from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

Undertaking cleaning duties in the
area of deployment;

Performing messengerial duties;
·
Handling confidential duties in the

on operational matters; and
·
Guiding and counseling staff under
him/her.
Requirements
·
Served in the grade of Office
Assistant I, or in a comparable position in Public Service or Private Sector
for a minimum period of three (3) years;
·
Attended Efficiency Course for Office
Assistant lasting not less than one (1) Month from a recognized Institution;
·
Certificate in computer application
skills; and
·
Shown merit, integrity and ability as
reflected in work performance and results.
·
In addition, candidates must provide

Responsibilities
·
Taking charge of food assembly,
preparation, production and placement;
·
Delivering and using kitchen equipment
with due care;
·
Reviewing of menus and dietary
requirements considering seasonal and market changes within the limitation of
established policies;
·
Planning orders of foodstuffs for
availability when needed, and maintaining price fluctuation charts and other
appropriate records;
·
Developing and implementing policies;
·
Assisting in developing procedures
and methods for food production in consultation with other administrative staff
to achieve high quality meals, and cost-effective performance objectives; and
·
Supervising and training of all
kitchen staff working under him
Requirements
·
Served in the grade of Cook I, or in
a comparable position in the Public Service or Private Sector for a minimum
period of three (3) years;
·
Diploma in Food Production from a
recognized Institution;
·
Thorough knowledge of culinary arts
including cooking, baking, salad preparation and food presentation;
·
Been conversant with different
methods of food storage and preservation;
·
Certificate in computer application
skills;
·
Demonstrated knowledge, integrity and
skills in Institutional food preparation.

Kenya
Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) is the oldest Middle Level media
training Institution in Kenya established in 1961. It is currently a State
Corporation established through Legal Notice No.197 of 2011(amended). The
Institute offers training at Post Graduate, Diploma and Certificate levels in
Communication and Cinematic Arts.
The
Institute is looking for qualified candidates for the following vacant
position:-
Responsibilities
·
Planning and executing security
arrangement as required by the Institute;
·
Looking after all security
arrangements in the Institute;
·
Ensuring maintenance of law and order
within the Institute;
·
Liaising with police and other
security agencies regarding security matters;
·
Investigating criminal cases
affecting the institute; and
·
Facilitating and developing regular
and special security training programmes in liaison with the relevant security
agencies.
Requirements
·
Served in the grade of Security

Bachelor’s degree in Criminology or
equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution;
