Qualifications

·         Be a Kenyan citizen;

Responsibilities
·         Undertaking general diagnosis, care, treatment and rehabilitation of patients;
·         Carrying out specialized clinical care;
·         Providing psycho-social interventions;
·         Providing clinical services to patients;
·         Training, consulting and performing surgeries in various health facilities;
·         Carrying out forensic and medico-legal services;
·         Coordinating disease surveillance, prevention and control;
·         Coordinating health education and promotion;
·         Implementing health projects and programmes;
·         Maintaining up-to-date health information systems;
·         Monitoring provision of health treatment and care;

Health Administration Officer

Qualifications
·         Be a Kenyan Citizen;
·         Kenya Certificate of secondary Education (KCSE), mean grade C- or its equivalent qualification with at least a C in English / Kiswahili and Mathematics from a recognized Institution; and
·         Diploma in any of the following:- Health Management, Hospital Administration, Business Administration or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Responsibilities
·         An Officer at this level may be deployed at a Sub- District Hospital, Rural Health Training Center, Deployment or a Unit within a large Hospital or to a specific Health Programme where he/she will be exposed to various administrative duties which will include procurement, provision and maintenance of facilities and general upkeep of the hospital.
·         The officer will work under supervision of a more senior officer.

Clinical Officer

·         Taking history, examining, diagnosing and treating patients’ common ailments at an outpatient or inpatient health facility;

Dental Officer

Responsibilities
·         An officer at this level will be responsible to a senior Assistant Director of Human Resource Management for planning, organizing, administration and control of the activities in Human Resource units;

·         Making proposals on Human resource planning and succession management;
·         Analyzing staff performance and career progression and making appropriate recommendations;

Responsibilities

·         Provision of general medicine expertise, which extends to leading the junior and senior doctors in the department’s medical team and receiving referrals from other medical practitioners within the County;
·         Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist medical services to patients;
·         Promote patient safety and quality of care and provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training,
·         Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
