The SRHR Alliance in Kenya is a coalition of 17 civil society organizations and institutions working to promote the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people in Kenya.


The SRHR Alliance is seeking to recruit an experienced, ambitious and dynamic individual to fill the following position:
National Programme Coordinator (NPC)
The NPC is responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, manages the process of collaboration among country alliance partners and operational management of the SRHR Alliance and represents SRHR Alliance with the Government, Local and international partners in the country.

S/he will take the leading role in coordination of the Get Up Speak Out and AmplifyChange programmes, developing, overseeing, reviewing and monitoring of the Country program strategy to make a positive contribution to the overall mission of SRHR Alliance Kenya.
The NPC will be responsible for developing and managing new and ongoing programming initiatives, actively leading the programme cycle management, and developing and managing partnerships.
The NPC is also responsible for ensuring cross learning and sharing knowledge across the programme in all areas of programming as well as the national, regional and international policy advocacy and development issues.
S/he is responsible for overall joint activity funds and supervision of secretariat staff at the Alliance as well as leading resource mobilization to ensure the smooth running and financial sustainability of the Alliance.
Qualifications:
·         Post-graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Education or Development Studies
·         At least seven (7) years working experience in the areas of population health and international development, sexual and reproductive health, human rights, and gender in Africa;
·         At least 3 years working experience working in similar or related positions;
·         Proven experience in research and advocacy,

·         Strong People and financial Management skills;
·         Strong experience in strategy, program formulation and implementation;

Programme Officer, Monitoring, Evaluation and Operational Research – PME & OR
The PME & OR will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to program teams for Get Up Speak Out and Accelerating access to SRHR information and services for young people and girls through CSOs in Kenya programmes to ensure robust monitoring, evaluation, learning, operational research and reporting functions are defined and implemented successfully
Qualifications:
·         Post-graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Education or Development Studies
·         Proven experience of not less than 5 years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation and Operational Research in areas of population and development, sexual and reproductive health, human rights, and gender, of which three years are at the international level;
·         Strong proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with ability to analyze and interpret data using Excel, MIS online reporting tools, or statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA and NVIVO.
