Job Purpose
·         Coordinate Supply Chain Management activities in accordance with the Public Procurement & Disposal Act, 2005, Public Procurement and Disposal Regulations, 2006 and other laws and policies on procurement. Review, update, interpret and implement existing procurement procedures and systems.

·         Prepare procurement plans in accordance with budget processes.

Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level entails-

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in any of the following; Supply Chain, Commerce (Supplies Management option), Procurement or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
·         Senior Management Course or equivalent lasting not less than two (2) weeks from recognized institution.

Job Purpose
Enable the Hospital achieve its objectives by taking initiatives and providing guidance and support in all matters relating to human resource. Implement and evaluate human resource management policies, strategies, guidelines and procedures. Ensure compliance to legislation and statutes related to Human Resource. Provide human resource consultancy.
Ensure Capacity development of staff. Ensure Human resource planning and succession management. Handle staff welfare, employee and industrial relation matters. Establish performance management systems. Develop and ensure implementation of remuneration and compensation policies and strategies to attract and retain potential candidates.
Responsibilities
Principal Human Resource Officer responsibilities include:
·         Supervising, planning and programming work in a human resource management section including recruitment, appointments, complement control, employee relations, training, discipline, salary administration and staff welfare within the framework of existing human resource management policies, rules and regulations;

Job Purpose
Implementation of the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board Act, CAP 253A of 1999, and as amended in 2000. Formulation, implementation, interpretation and review of medical laboratory polices standards, guidelines and programmes at the hospital.  Management and corporation of medical laboratory services.
Conduct diagnostic laboratory interventions in liaison with health care stakeholders. Conduct research in the field of medical laboratory services in liaison with other departments and institutions. Provision of evidence in support of medico-legal and forensic services.  Provision  of specifications,  evaluation  and  validation  of medical laboratory  equipment,  reagents  and  chemicals.
Ensure biosafety and biosecurity practices of medical laboratory services. Maintenance of medical workshop records, information, and provision of quality assurance and control in medical laboratory services.
Responsibilities
Senior Principal Medical Laboratory Officer responsibilities include:
·         Developing, Implementing   and   reviewing   laboratory   policies,   guidelines, strategies, standards and programs;
·         Coordinating the preparation of reagents, stains and examining specimens;
·         Carrying out laboratory operational research;
·         Preparing procurement plan for laboratory requirements;

·         Ensure maintenance of accurate and up to date database of all clinical assets including research projects and intellectual properties.
·         Guide and set standards in the provision of services in both clinical and community health practice.
