Terms of Service: Four
(4) months renewable Contract
Responsibilities
·
Provide
quality HTC services to OPD, in patient and FP clients;
·
Officer
first adherence counselling services to newly positive clients before referral
to care and treatment;
·
Refer
and enroll all patients who test HIV positive;
·
Maintain
high standards of HTC service provision according to the NASCOP guidelines;
·
Refer
all negative men who are not circumcised for VMMC;
·
Identify
and link all discordant couples in the discordant couples’ program;
·
Maintain
a well-documented HTS registers;
·
Store
and use the HTC commodities according to the national guidelines;
·
Update
data on the wall charts monthly;
·
Promote
HTC services among clients who visit the health facility by giving health talks
and by using IEC materials;
·
Participate
in pediatric testing days and testing in the children homes.
Qualifications
·
Be
a Kenyan citizen
·
KCSE
with a minimum of D+ for certificate holders and C- for diploma holders
·
Have
a minimum of a certificate in medical training from a recognized institution OR
certificate in psychological counselling OR an equivalent qualification from a
recognized institution
·
Certificate
in computer applications from a recognized institution
·
Have
a certificate in HTC
·
Should
have at least one year experience in HIV program work
·
Satisfy
the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
Pharmaceutical Technologist
Terms of Service: Four
(4) months renewable Contract
Responsibilities
·
Interpretation and issuing medication
as per prescription;
·
Ensuring proper keeping of pharmacy
records;
·
Commodity management of drugs and
non-pharmaceuticals to ensure no stock-outs or wastage through expiry;
·
Teaching and mentoring other staff;
·
Any other duties as may be assigned
by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications
·
Be a Kenyan citizen;
·
Be a holder of Diploma in Pharmacy
from a recognized institution;
·
Certificate in Computer Application
Skills from a recognized institution.
·

Medical Laboratory Technologist III
Terms of Service:
Four (4) months renewable Contract
Responsibilities
·
Decontaminating working benches;
·
Receiving and scrutinizing laboratory
requisition forms and specimens;
·
Preparing clients for collection of
specimens;
·
Receiving, collecting, labelling and
registering of specimens;
·
Disaggregating specimens for
processing and analyses;
·
Preparing reagents; examining
specimens;
·
Writing and recording of results;
·
Dispatching the results for use in
clinical management;
·
Preparing stains;
·
Performing blood grouping;
·
Issuing blood and blood products to
peripheral Health facilities and;
·
Storing blood products according to
their requirements
·
Performing any other duties as may be
assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications
·
Be
a Kenyan citizen.

Be
a holder of Medical Laboratory Sciences or any other equivalent
qualification from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory
Technicians and Technologists Board;
·
Be
a registered member of Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and
Technologists Board (KMLTTB);
·

in computer applications skills
·
Possess
a valid practice license from KMLTTB

Responsibilities
·
Providing preventive and promotive
healthcare services;
·
Making simple diagnosis
and evaluating patient’s outcomes;
·
Assessing, planning, implementing
nursing interventions
·
Providing appropriate healthcare
service including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI),
immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and delivery,
·
Providing health education and
counseling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs;
·
Facilitating patients’ admission and
initiating discharge plans;
·
Maintaining records on
patients’/clients health condition and care;
·
Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical
environment; and collecting and compiling data.

Conducting delivery;

preventive and promotive health;

Carrying out minor surgical
procedures as per training and skill;
·
Collecting and compiling clinical data;

Registered Clinical Officer III
Terms of Service:
Four (4) months renewable Contract
Responsibilities
·
Be
the leader of clinical services and ensure proper patient management is done in
line with the National guidelines
·
Ensure
weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings (MDTs) are held to discuss complicated
cases and minutes are available
·
Conduct
bi-annual quality improvement initiative in line with KHQIF and take lead
in implementation of targeted interventions and develop action plan for poorly
performing indicators
·
Conduct
monthly continuous medical education for site staff and ensure the site attends
central site CME
·
Develop
a site work plan for TB/HIV services in line with Annual Work Plan and CHS
scope of work Implement differentiated care model leading to 100 % of
stable clients enrolled.
·
Ensure
the minimum package of TB/HIV care is implemented in line with the National
guidelines Strengthen TB screening in every visit, support TB diagnosis
/DR TB surveillance by use of gene expert and provide IPT to all eligible
clients leading to over 95% uptake and completion.
·
Take
the lead in attainment of the priority indicators for HIV care and Treatment,
PMTCT, PITC and TB/HIV program
·
Ensure
integration of ART services in TB clinic and MCH Strengthen quality of HIV
care and treatment services for leading to 100% ART uptake, 100% viral load
testing, 90% viral suppression and PREP to all eligible clients.
·
Ensure
complete documentation and timely reporting
·
Report
all suspected adverse drug reactions.
·
Conduct
any other duty as maybe prescribed by the supervisors
Qualifications

Be

Be
a holder of Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and
Community Health from recognized institution
·
Be
a registered member of the Clinical Officers Council
