JOB GROUP ‘E’


Responsibilities
·         Prompt collection and accounting of all revenue to the County Government within area of jurisdiction;
·         Preparation and submission of daily/weekly and monthly revenue collection reports to the Senior Revenue Officer
·         Responsible for making sure that all the revenue collected are banked intact and promptly.

·         Implementing the established revenue procedures
·         Reporting on the level of compliance with revenue laws and regulations;
·         Custodian and accountable of all official revenue documents in the locality.
·         Any other duties assigned by the Sub County Senior Revenue Officer.
 Qualifications
·         Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum grade C-(Minus) or its approved equivalents,
·         Self-starter, excellent team player, effective communicator and must be able to work with minimal supervision

·         Certificate in either Business Related Course
·         Proficiency in computer applications.
·         Satisfy the requirement of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 leadership and Integrity.
Additional Requirements
·         All applicants are expected to attach copies of the following additional documents
1.  Tax Compliance Certificate.
2.  Clearance from HELB where necessary.
3.  Clearance from the Ethics and anti-Corruption Commission.
4.  Certificate of good conduct from the police.
