with its partners, seeks to help people in crisis, whoever and wherever they

KRCS works in collaboration with other Red Cross Red Crescent partners, including the Danish Red Cross (DRC); which financially and technically contributes to disaster response and resilience programmes throughout the region.

Position Title: Country Finance Officer – Danish Red Cross
Reporting to: Africa Regional Finance Manager
– Danish Red Cross (technical) and to the Country Coordinator – Danish RC (Line
management)
Job location: Nairobi, KRCS Headquarters
Position Summary: The Country
Finance Officer has a functional reporting line to the Africa Regional Finance
Manager (RFM) for all functional finance matters i.e. Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP), templates, systems etc.) and a delivery / output reporting
line to the Country Coordinator (CC) for all delivery (output) matters (i.e.
financial reports, budgets, advice to local DRC management, priority of tasks
etc.).
The Country Finance Officer position
in Danish Red Cross (DRC) forms part of the Country Office.
The Country Finance Officer supports
the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) through the Country Office in ensuring
effective and timely financial management in general and of DRC supported
programmes in particular. The Country Finance Officer also assists the Country
Coordinator (CC) in ensuring effective and timely financial management of the
Country Office expenses.
