Responsibilities
·
Daily checking the
electrical/electronic status of all machines and equipment
·
Service, Repair and Maintain machines
and equipment within the assigned units as the need arises
·
Purchasing of relevant spare parts
required through authorization of maintenance supervisor.
·
Maintain daily checklists as
required.
·
Ensure availability when required at
any branch
·
Ensure that all the interior and
exterior building electrical, electronic works and lighting conform to the
acceptable set brand standards.
·
Report any malfunctioning of
equipment beyond the scope to your superior
Qualifications
·
Diploma or certificate Electrical/
Electronics Engineering.
·
3 years’ experience in the
maintenance field.
·
Experience in electronic/electrical
servicing or maintenance
·
Ability to work under pressure.
·
Must be able to work with little or
no supervision.
·
Resolving problems efficiently,
quickly, and in a timely manner.
·
Adaptable and flexible
·

·
Management, training, and supervision
of all farm staff.

Advice the management on the measure
to be taken on any non-performing field staff
·
Ensure that proper clothing is worn
during the handling of any produce especially within the Greenhouse
·
Review and inspection of reports made
by subordinates on the Greenhouse conditions
·
Oversee the Nutrient balancing and
management of the system, plant and animal health, control of pests
·
Providing periodic operations reports
to the management team, reporting on progress vs. targets and production
reports
·
Requisition or purchase of supplies,
such as insecticides, machine parts/lubricants, tools and implementation of
stock control measures.
Qualifications

Degree in Agriculture or related
field
·
Must have a minimum of 5 years’
experience agribusiness
·
Must be conversant with greenhouse
and open field farming technology
·
Must have precise or rich knowledge
in chemical application, disease and pest control in vegetable farming
·
A proven track record of meeting various
targets set.
·
Knowledge of vegetable and animal
farming is an added advantage
·
Keen on learning, growing, and
contributing to a small team of experienced people in a dynamic environment
·
Ability to work independently while
constantly informing the head in terms of reports, charts and memos.
·
Should be able to work and reside in
the farm
