Laboratory Manager
The position will support the implementation, strengthening and follow up of laboratory activities in the Ndhiwa project (laboratory, IPD, hubs, community), and follow-up of all lab related activities in Homabay Hospital
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1) Recruit, set up and provide mentorship to the team
2) Review the existing laboratory services and support quality process
3) Implement the lab activities and review the referral and networking process to and from Ndhiwa Lab/Referral Labs
4) Provide oversight to laboratory stock management and monitor the activities
5) Participate in the set-up of studies where laboratory is necessary
Requirements
Education
Essential: Degree in Medical Laboratory Science
Experience
Essential: at least two years of relevant experience as a Laboratory Manager or Supervisor with MSF/other NGO experience especially in HIV/AIDS
Experience in setting up of new tests and procedures
Training skills and experience in working with MOH and mentorship skills
Languages
Essential: English Kiswahili
Desirable: Luo
Knowledge
Computer literacy, all-round technical understanding (Microsoft Excel, Ward , Power Point )
