We have operations among poor communities in various parts of Kenya. We have four main Missions: Education, Spiritual development, Health and Economic
empowerment.
With the current exponential growth we are experiencing, we seek to recruit a competent, qualified and self-driven professional to fill the following position:
Director of Missions
Reporting to the CEO and serving in the executive leadership team, the Director of Missions is responsible for leadership and oversight to the Education, Spiritual development, Health and Economic empowerment Missions of MOHI.
He or she plays a critical role in partnering with the Chief Executive Officer in strategic leadership and management, planning, decision-making and operations of the organization towards the realization of the organization’s Mission and Vision.
The holder must have a Master’s degree in Development, Social Sciences, Sociology or any other related field with at least ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience.

Director, Human Resource Development
Reporting to the CEO and serving in the executive leadership team, the HR Director originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
The holder must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field with at least ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions, a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management of Kenya and a Certified Human Resource Practitioner.

Finance Manager
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration, the Finance Manager is responsible for the management oversight of finance and accounting functions in MOHI, ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate financial management information and technical expertise to enable timely management decision making and safeguard the organization’s assets from loss arising from fraud, error or negligence.
The holder must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (an MBA will be an added advantage), with at least five (5) years of professional experience as a manager, a member of ICPAK and qualified CPA(K) or ACCA.

Education Quality Assurance & Standards Coordinator
Reporting to the Manager, Education Mission, the position is responsible for independent verification and ensuring that MOHI education program activities and interventions are carried out according to standard operating procedures; monitoring implementation of MOHI education activities (outputs and impacts); and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, internal policies and procedures, legal requirements, government policies and regulations, and requirements of any professional body.
The holder must have a Bachelor Degree in Education (a Master’s degree will be an added advantage), with at least seven (7) years relevant work experience.

Human Resource Manager
The HR Manager supports the Director of HRD in designing sound staff management and Development systems and procedures that ensure that MOHI attracts and retains skilled and highly motivated personnel capable of delivering the organization’s strategic objectives.
The holder must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business administration, Organizational Development or related field (a Master’s degree an added advantage), a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management of Kenya and a Certified Human Resource Practitioner with at least 5 years in Management and or technical/advisory role in a middle/large organization.

Manager, Economic Empowerment
Reporting to the Director of Missions, the position is responsible for coordinating the microfinance project through planning and directing its activities, and ensuring MOHI maintains healthy, efficient, and effective microcredit operations.
The holder must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or Social Science related field with at least five (5) years’ experience of successfully managing Microfinance Projects.

Manager, Internal Audit, Compliance & Risk
This position is responsible for monitoring the organizations compliance with internal policies and guidelines set for risk management and risk monitoring, control and mitigation of risk, as well as external rules and regulations governing the industry. The position holder helps verify whether the organization meets all of its fiduciary responsibilities while adhering to corporate-governance standards and legal and regulatory requirements.
The holder must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (an MBA will be an added advantage), with at least five (5) years of professional experience as a manager, a member of ICPAK and qualified CPA(K) or ACCA.

Procurement Manager
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration, the procurement manager is responsible for the effective management of the procurement and supplies chain and systems in the organization including evaluating suppliers, conducting interviews with vendors, negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier and vendor contracts.
The holder must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (an MBA will be an added advantage), with at least five (5) years of professional experience as a manager, and be a member of KISM in good standing.

Legal & Child Protection Officer
Reporting to the CEO, this position is responsible for handling legal matters in the organization and to execute the child protection project activities which include training and follow up on all matters of child protection and case management in MOHI operating areas.
The holder must have a Bachelor’s Degree in law or Social Sciences with two (2) years relevant work experience in similar organization. Diploma holders in law with at least 3 years’ experience in similar position are also eligible to apply.
