Reporting to the Director, Scheduled Sciences, the Chief Analyst will undertake the following
Responsibilities
·         Develop draft policy briefs for advisory and priority setting within Infrastructure,

·         Implement programmes for the promotion and awareness creation on the research system within
·         Infrastructure, Information and Communication Sciences;
·         Propose priority programmes for the development of Infrastructure, Information and
·         Provide input into the review of applications for registration of research institutions and licensing of research
·         projects in Infrastructure, Information and Communication Sciences;
·         Provide secretariat to the Infrastructure, Information and Communication Sciences
·         Prepare position papers in Infrastructure, Information and Communication Sciences;
Requirements
·         Bachelors degree in any Engineering field, Computer Science, Architectural Sciences and Construction Management, or equivalent from a recognized university;
·         Masters degree in any Engineering field, specified in (i) above or equivalent from a recognized university;
·         At least ten (10) years relevant work experience in a public or private institution
·         At least three (3) years’ experience in management
·         Demonstrated results in work performance
·         Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable
·         Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and
Demonstrate the following key competencies and skills:

Senior Corporate Communication Officer

Reporting to the Principal Corporate Communications, the Senior Corporate Communication Officer.
Responsibilities
·         Provide input in the development of communication strategy and policy;
·         Organize corporate events;
·         Develop information, education and communication materials;
·         Liaise with departments to generate content material for dissemination;
·         Assist in promoting a positive corporate image of the Commission;
·         Coordinate the implementation of corporate social responsibility programs;
·         Handle complaints in the Commission;
Requirements
·         Bachelor’s degree in Communications or equivalent from a recognized university;
·         Master’s Degree in Communication or equivalent from a recognized university as an added advantage;
·         Professional qualification and membership where applicable;

Senior Administration Officer

Responsibilities
·         Maintaining an inventory register;
·         Ensure assets are insured;
·         Manage Office transport system;
·         Ensure maintenance of office equipment, facilities and assets;

Requirements
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized university;

Human Resource Officer

Reporting to the Senior Human Resource Officer
Responsibilities
·         Verify information relating to recruitment and performance appraisal;
·         Assist in payroll administration;
·         Assist in updating human resource records in an accurate and timely manner;
·         Draft correspondences;
·         Process, monitor employee leave records and ensure timely reports;
·         Assist human resources recruitment, performance appraisal;
·         Liaise with the insurance, pension, medical providers; and
·         Assist in coordinating health and safety programs, HIV/AIDS Prevention, gender, disability mainstreaming, Alcohol, Drug and Substance Abuse.
Requirements

Supply Chain Management Officer

Responsibilities
·         Source for goods, works and services as per the procurement law;
·         Raise purchase orders for goods and services for approval;
·         Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services;
·         Maintain and update a list of prequalified suppliers;
·         Assist in undertaking market surveys to ensure the Commission obtains value for money;
·         Ensure safe custody of all procurements records;

Deputy Director Internal Audit

Reporting to the Commission Board, the Deputy Director, Internal Audit will head the Internal Audit Department.
Responsibilities
·         Developing and coordinating implementation of audit strategies, policies and procedures to ensure achievement of Commission’s objectives;
·         Preparing and coordinating the implementation of the risk based annual audit plan in consultation with Management and Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board;
·         Coordinating the preparation of audit reports on completion of each assignment to ensure timely issuance to Management for implementation of recommended actions;
·         Monitoring progress and effectiveness of action taken to implement audit recommendations received from both internal and external audits;
·         Coordinating execution of special audits/investigations;
·         Preparing and presenting quarterly audit reports to the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board;

Requirements
·         Masters degree in Business Administration (Accounting/Finance Option) or relevant field from a recognized institution;

·         CPA (K)/ACCA finalist;
·         CIA/CISA;

Reporting to the Director General, the Deputy Director, Supply Chain Management will head the Supply Chain Management Department
Responsibilities
·         Developing and coordinating the preparation of annual procurement and disposal plans and their implementation;
·         Coordinating procurement and disposal activities in the Commission;
·         Preparing contract documents for goods, works and services;
·         Custodian of contract documents;
·         Liaising with the user department to ensure effective implementation of contracts for goods, works and services;
