Driver – Kisumu Campus
Job Objective: To drive and maintain vehicles as instructed
Duties and Responsibilities:

·         To pick up and drop off students/staff to various scheduled destinations;
·         To maintain order among students in the bus during trips;
·         To ensure safety of passengers in the bus during academic trips and sporting activities;
·         To collect and deliver University mail or packages to assigned destinations within and outside the University;
·         Ensure cleanliness of University vehicles at all times;
·         Maintain records of work performed; make timely reports of accidents, incidents & unusual occurrences;
·         To exercise knowledge of first-aid procedures when need arises;
·         To ensure University vehicles are serviced as scheduled;
·         To report any defects on University vehicles to the supervisor;
·         Perform routine vehicle inspection and maintenance including checking the oil, fuel, brakes, lights, windshield, wipers, water and tyre pressures and advise on further maintenance aspects for the vehicle;
·         Be responsible for the safety and security of bus or vehicle assigned;
·         To abide by all Traffic Laws when handling the University vehicle.
Qualifications and Experience
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience
Academic / Professional Qualification
·         KCSE Certificate level training;
·         Valid driving License Class BCE / Government Grade Test 2 or above
·         Mechanical background & training
·         5 to 6 years minimum of relevant work experience
·         Certificate of Good Conduct

Application Developer – Navision
Job Objective: Responsible for Configuration and development activities to the University’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV system.
In addition to this, the Application
Developer will be required to analyze and contribute to functional specifications provided by business users and produce technical specifications in line with agreed standards and the primary focus will be Dynamics NAV development, with additional activities using SQL and NET, and creating integrations to Dynamics NAV.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Configure, develop and deliver MS Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas
·         Create new and modify existing customization and integrations as requested by the business units
·         Perform data conversions, debug system problems, and craft resolutions
·         Test functionality developed by the development team against business requirements
·         Support and drive process change and communication in line with NAV best practice
·         Coordinate and contribute to end-user training including development of system documentation and training materials
·         Assist with functional specifications of customizations and integrations required for NAV implementations
·         Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live end user support
·         Take responsibility for the customized unit programming and overall system functionality
·         Work with the Project Leaders and Consultants to understand the business / application requirements of the assigned task
·         Creation of technical documentation for all customizations and integrations
Qualifications and Experience
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:
·         Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, ICT or any other relevant course
·         3 to 4 years’ experience in active application development is preferable
Other Skills and Competencies
·         Experience as a software developer specifically working with NAV C/SIDE C/AL a plus development language

·         Role Tailored Client (RTC) development experience (including page and report development in Visual Studio)
·         SQL Experience a plus
·         Web Development / SharePoint programming experience a plus
·         Prior NAV upgrade and data migration experiences highly desired
·         Ability to translate customer business requirements and specifications into code solutions along with the ability to develop and manage hours’ estimates
·         Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously
·         Able to understand, communicate and interpret key user business processes and requirements
·         Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands
·         Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation – including business and system requirements, process diagrams, and data flow charts
·         Exceptional customer service skills, follows up with clients and team members, and takes initiative to anticipate and solve problems
·         Effective time management skills
·         Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with a minimum of supervision

Manager – Amagoro Centre
Job Objective: To manage the Centre in line with overall University Strategic Plan
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         To steer the centre in the strategic direction of the University;
·         Anchor the financial performance of the centre as a strategic business unit of the university;
·         Develop a business plan for the Centre focusing on recruitment and retention of students;
·         Prepare and manage annual budget for the Centre;
·         Oversee the day to day academic and administrative functions of the Centre;
·         Prepare progress report on academic and business performance of the Centre;
·         In consultation with HR at Main Campus, oversee the recruitment of staff at the Centre;
·         In consultation with Procurement Manager at the Main Campus, oversee the acquisition of goods and services at the Centre;
·         Oversee management of facilities of the Centre;
·         Develop a risk management framework of the Centre;
·         Mentor, train and develop staff;
·         In consultation with Main Campus, enter into various negotiations and agreements on behalf of the institution relating to financial,
contractual and community affairs;
·         Represent the Centre in academic/non-academic meetings;
·         In liaison with main campus, carry out fund raising activities for the Centre
Qualifications and Experience
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience
·         Master’s Degree
·         4 to 5 years proven work record at Senior Supervisory level
·         Professional qualification in Accounting is an added advantage
