members and fast growing Society that seeks to fill the position of Chief
Executive Officer (CEO).

Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Board of directors,
the Chief Executive Officer shall be responsible for the day-to-day running of
the Society operations.
Specific duties shall include;
·
Co-ordination of the Society
activities to ensure optimum and efficient utilization of all Society assets
and resources.
·
The implementation of and adherence
to the policies, procedures and standards
·
Management of the daily affairs of
the society in a competent manner
·
Ensure selection of competent and
qualified personnel
·
Supervision of all members of staff
in head office and various branches
·
Setting up performance management
system and evaluation of staff performance
·
Manage the Society’s budget ensuring
spending is in line with overall budget
·
Monitor key performance areas and
ensure all targets are met
·
Review and implement regulations,
internal systems, structures, procedures and controls to improve the quality of
service
·
Implementation of the Society’s
Strategic plan, policies and business plans
·
Manage the credit portfolio and
provide reports to the Board of directors.
·
Attend all board of Directors
meetings on an advisory capacity
·
Represent the Society in forums,
business transactions and any other transaction authorized by the Board of
Directors;
·
Ensure compliance with all statutory
requirements & relevant bodies.
·
Timely preparation and presentation
of various progress reports to board of directors
·
Any other lawful duty that may be
assigned by the Board of Directors.

Qualifications
The candidate should have:

A Business related degree or its
equivalent from a recognised university
·
CPA (Part II) or its equivalent
·
A diploma in Co-operative Management
will be an added advantage.
·
5 years practical experience in a
busy financial institution of which 3 years must be in a management position
·
Proficient in Microsoft office suite

Officer.
The

Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting
to the Chief Executive Officer shall be responsible for overseeing the marketing
and sales function of the Society.
Specific duties shall include;

Formulation and implementation of
marketing policy and procedures;
·
Marketing Society’s product and
services;
·
Prepare and Coordinate implementation
of media and Public Relation plan to create awareness;
·
Coordinate marketing seminars and
members’ awareness;
·
Promote a positive image of the
Organization;
·
Formulation and implementation of
marketing policy and procedures;
·
Undertaking sales promotion,
establishment of market networks for product /services, technical evaluation of
customer needs and complaints;
·
Development and designing of new
competitive and customer driven products for the Society;
·
Maintaining relationships with
existing customers;
·
Maintaining contact between the
Society and its existing and potential markets;
·
Gathering market and customer
information;
·
Co-ordinate the activities of the
sales team;
·
Lead the effort in ensuring that the
Society has a strong public image;
·
Advising on forthcoming product
developments and discussing special promotions and activities;
·
Gaining a clear understanding of
customers’ businesses and requirements; and
·
Any other lawful duties as may be
assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Appointment
to the position shall be made from persons who:
·
Are holders of Bachelor of Commerce
Degree in Marketing or its equivalent from a recognised university;
or
or
·
Has satisfactorily served in the
grade of sales executive or comparable position with similar responsibilities
in the Society or in like organisations for a minimum of three (3) years
relevant experience.
·
A diploma in Co-operative Management
will be an added advantage
