Plant Operator

Reporting to Factory Manager, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring that all value addition machinery and equipment are properly maintained for effective operations of the value addition section.

Responsibilities

·         Adhere to and implement policies and strategies on maintenance and servicing of value addition machinery and equipment.

·         Develop maintenance and servicing schedules for all value addition machinery.
·         Ensure timely maintenance and servicing of all machinery and equipment.
·         Inspect, test, repair, maintain and service machinery and equipment.
·         Proper record keeping of all factory value addition machinery and equipment.
·         Provide guidelines and basic training on proper use and maintenance of equipment and machinery.

Factory Electrician
Job Purpose:
Reporting to Plant Technician, the job holder will be responsible for repair, maintenance and ensuring safety of the electrical machinery and equipment in the factory.

Responsibilities

·         Adhere to and Implement policies and strategies on factory machinery and equipment.
·         Develop Maintenance and servicing schedules for all electrical machinery and equipment
·         Report any damages and replacement immediately
·         Ensure timely Inspection, testing, repair, maintenance and service
·         Proper record keeping of all factory electrical machinery, equipment

Reporting to Production Manager, the job holder will be responsible for maintenance of safety and supervision of factory workers for effective production of high-quality tea that meets required standards.

Responsibilities

·         Allocating duties to factory workers and managing their welfare.
·         Liaison between workers and management for effective communication
·         Ensuring effective cost control.
·         Implementing production plans and strategies as per approved policies.
·         Maintaining accurate production records and information.
·         Ensuring effective utilization of labour and production resources while minimizing any loss.

Strategy & Corporate Performance Manager
Reporting to the Managing Director, the job holder will be responsible for participating in preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of strategic plan achievements in terms of business performance.

Responsibilities

·         Coordinate formulation of strategic corporate business plans (short, medium and long term).
·         Participate in the development of policies and strategies to help management achieve corporate goals and objectives as per business plans.
·         Coordinate the implementation process of business plans, projections and strategies.
·         Evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency and appropriateness of business standards and targets, and make recommendations for addressing performance gaps.
·         Develop parameters for measuring implementation of plans and strategies.

Legal Officer
Reporting to the Corporation’s Secretary, the job holder will be responsible for provision of Legal Services in order to meet the Corporation’s goals and objectives

Responsibilities

·         Vetting and drawing of contract, lease and other legal as required.
·         Liaising with external lawyers on legal matters for and against the Corporation
·         Representing the Corporation in legal, civil and criminal court proceedings and ensuring timely gathering of evidence as required.

·         Participating in review and formulation of legal policies.
·         Maintaining and filling all court proceedings as per established systems and procedures.

Job Purpose
Reporting to Green Leaf Coordinator, the job holder will be responsible for effective and efficient maintenance of motor vehicle and equipment in order to meet set targets.

Responsibilities

·         Ensuring maintenance and repairs of equipment and transport facilities as per set quality standards and specifications
·         Carrying out comparative estimate cost of repairs and maintenance of motor vehicle and equipment
·         Ensuring timely implementation of preventive maintenance schedules.
·         Ensuring that the cost of repairs is maintained within approved levels.
·         Attending to minor breakdown of equipment and motor vehicle in the corporation.

Welder/ Fabricator
Reporting to the Plant Technician, the job holder will be responsible for Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, bridge parts, and pressure vessels, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

·         Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler.
·         Tack-welds or welds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment.
·         Cuts workpiece, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knife.
·         Melts lead bar, wire, or scrap to add lead to joint or to extrude melted scrap into reusable form.
·         Installs or repairs equipment, such as lead pipes, valves, floors, and tank linings.
·         Observes tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
·         Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments.
·         Removes rough spots from workpiece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper.
·         Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

Reporting to the Plant Technician, the job holder will be involved in the operation of Lathe Machines to perform various maintenance activities of all factory machines to ensure machine availability and efficiency at all times.

·         CTC Rollers sharpening.
·         CTC Rollers changing.
·         Checking roller cutting efficiency.
·         Multi-purpose lathe operation.
·         General machine service.
·         Record keeping and update of documents.
·         Attending machines breakdowns.
·         Inspection of various factory machines.
