Channels Solutions Manager

Brief Posting Description
Reporting to Senior Manager – Channels Solutions, the position holder will develop and offer 3rd line support of Oracle Siebel CRM application, IP Contact Center systems, SharePoint, bespoke contact center systems and software components. Provide technical leadership by assigning work, resolving technical problems, and mentoring other developers in all areas of Customer systems development.

Responsibilities

·         End to end accountability for strategy execution, all configurations and development within customer systems domain
·         Ensure all projects assigned are delivered effectively and efficiently
·         Ensure all delivered products are well documented and following the DevOps cycle
·         Ensure 50% of projects are delivered using agile methodologies
·         Ensure products roadmaps are delveloped, and implemented in conjunction with other business functions
·         Conduct business user requirements analysis and specification.
·         Specify computer system requirements for the solution of complex business problems and formulates designs for their solutions.
·         Perform the necessary technical design and development functionality
·         Design and development of front-end tier(s), middle tier(s), and /or back-end database tier(s) for business applications.
·         Performs data modeling to analyze and specify data structures within an application system
·         Support new and existing application development by creating modifications and enhancements for Oracle Siebel & Contact Center applications and perform high level system design.
·         Review and provide input on design approach, performance and base functionality.
·         Lead the team in optimal resource scheduling and allocation for delivery.
·         Research and development: – Take leadership in research and development including adoption of automated testing, agile delivery, scrum methodologies, CI/CD, and other emerging methodologies.
·         Ensures the effectiveness of overall systems performance
·         Responsible for CAPEX budget planning for Customer systems 

Requirements

·         University Degree in computer science or engineering
·         5+ years in software development/Support in a Telco industry with 2+ years in team leadership position
·         3+ years’ experience in Planning/Development in Oracle Siebel CRM
·         3+ Years’ experience in supporting/Implementing contact center systems

Reporting to the Sector Manager, the Account Relationship Manager will be responsible for Strategic Accounts (TML-Target Market List) within the Public Sector and NGOs vertical; to drive and achieve revenue targets through solution selling and segment propositions.

Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition And Revenue Growth
·         Identify growth prospects (New/Up-sell/Cross-Sell) within the TML;
·         Drive identification and adoption of relevant segment propositions;
·         Device strategic plans for Relationship penetration and ensure implementation of tactical plans including pipeline management;
·         Proactive Relationship performance management and tracking;
·         Grow Solution Sales within Public Sector and NGOs TML; through acquisition and penetration;
·         Provide thought leadership and Insights from customer engagements within the Public sector and NGOs Vertical.
Relationship & Baseline Retention
·         Develop and execute customer ring fencing strategies in Public sector and NGOs Vertical;
·         Stimulate existing prepositions within Public sector and NGOs Vertical;
·         Develop strong relationships at CXO level in government and wider Buying Centers to understand mid-to-long term Public sector and NGOs objectives;
·         Churn Management in Public sector and NGOs Vertical;
·         Contract Management: Follow up on all existing contracts & renewal;
·         Provide insight into the refinement of customer journey processes;
·         Timely response to customer correspondence (not later than 24 Hrs.);
·         Flag potential escalations timeously.
Relationship Account Development Planning
·         Formulate and manage customer relationship through up-to-date Account Development Plans, opportunity road maps, pipeline management and the entire sales cycle plan;
·         Leverage company assets (events & activities) to nature relationship with key stakeholders (CXO & Buying Centre).
Reporting
·         Manage reporting cycles (daily, weekly, and monthly);
·         Strict adherence on use of CRM (SFA) systems for progressing customer orders and reporting;
·         Timely circulation of customer meeting minutes (Not later than 24 Hrs.)
NPS- Manage customer relationships to drive Net Promoter Score by:
·         Maintaining strong and deep relationships with accounts under direct management;
·         Follow through on all customer issues until closure;
·         Maintaining communication with the customer throughout the entire customer journey.

Qualifications

·         Degree in Commerce/ ICT or a business related;
·         Work experience of 4-5 years managing enterprise customers in a B2G or B2B environment, preferably in an ISP;
·         Knowledge/ Work experience in ICT working with public NGOs, Civil society, and Agribusiness firms will be an added advantage;
·         Strong relationship building skills, preferably from a major blue chip company;
·         Ability to deliver results and meet and surpass targets;
·         New business development skills;
·         Be commercially savvy with a deep understanding and demonstration of solution selling.

Responsibilities

·         Develop software quality strategy and frameworks in non-functional testing and lead in execution
·         Accountable for building and leading the full non-functional testing team
·         Drive digital transformation in functional testing to achieve higher levels of competency and efficiency
·         Collaborate closely with business and project management teams in creating schedules and manage the non-functional testing teams

·         Provide direction for the non-functional testing team, ensuring that activities of the team are aligned with other stakeholders
·         Accountable for managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets for testing environments for all systems and non-functional testing tools
·         Responsible for implementation and management of  fully functional test environments ensuring stability of all test environments
·         End to end Accountability for disaster recovery testing and ensuring working Business Continuity Planning is in place for all solutions and guarantee stability of systems

·         Define suitable metrics for measuring nonfunctional test progress and evaluation of the quality of the testing process and products

Requirements
