Logistics and Stores Assistant
TO BE BASED IN HOMA BAY
Job Summary
Reporting to the Operation Manager, the Logistics and Stores
Assistant Supports EGPAF in the day-to-day management of assets, stores and
logistics especially those related to VMMC.
Responsibilities
·
Receive, inspect and verify goods (Quality/Quantity) as per the
Purchase order and Delivery and notes and raise GRNs.
·
Manage stores receipts and issues and ensure distribution of inventories
and commodities to health facilities.
·
Maintenance of up to date stores documentation by using stores
ledger, GRNs, Issues notes and proper filling of receipts and returns.

Equipment identification by branding and tagging before
distribution and ensuring updated records of the same.

Conduct quarterly/monthly inventory counts, update the stocks
ledger and do monthly reporting

Strategic Information & Evaluation Coordinator

Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating all VMMC M&E field-related
activities and provide constant feedback to both the technical and program
teams including health care workers in EGPAF supported sites in Homa Bay,
Turkana and West Pokot Counties.
Responsibilities
·
Ensures that the daily teams’ data performance from the field are
summarized and shared to the MOH and program teams for daily performance
monitoring. This data should eventually feed into the CDC and NASCOP reporting
tools.
·
Supervises the VMMC data officers and ensuring that the VMMC
M&E priority monthly performance indicators are met.
·
Issues red flags if a team’s data performance in two consecutive
occasions is below the target.
·
Ensures that the client’s files are entered into VMMC database by
data officers within the facility and within stipulated time and that no client
file leaves the health facility.
·
Performs monthly QA/QC for all the data entered. Feedback report
to be given to the MC program QA/QC committee and county VMMC committee
meetings.
·
Performs monthly and quarterly VMMC M&E quality assessment for
all the VMMC sites to identify M&E gaps in the quality of care offered to
the VMMC clients.
·
Prepares comprehensive quarterly program VMMC graphical and data
M&E reports and monthly summary data reports and ensuring that the national
protocol on VMMC data reporting guidelines are followed by data team to the
latter.

Ensures that all VMMC program M&E /data entry, reporting and
evaluation tools both MoH and program-related are available at the sites.

Also responsible for coordination of VMMC trainings and mentorship in EGPAF
supported sites in Homa Bay, Turkana and West Pokot Counties.
Responsibilities

Continuously implements and monitors program quality assurance and
control activities to ensure compliance to the national system.

Develop, review and ensures compliance to the internal QA/QC tools
and checklist.

In liaison with the TA, prepares and operationalizes surgical
staff training needs assessment.

the MOH clinical staff according to the national and county training

Reporting to the VMMC Project Officer, takes lead in the provision
of safe male medical circumcision services/EIMC as part of the VMMC minimum
package to male clients within supported sites.
Responsibilities
·
Provide quality and safe male circumcision services to clients in
the fixed, outreach and mobile sites and facilities.
·
Provide STI screening and treatment for clients attending male
circumcision services presenting with STI.
·
Monitor the health process of the clients and ensure that the
national standards are strictly adhered to by the team.
·
Screen patients and ensure that they are fit for surgery.
·
Document and manage circumcision related adverse events
accordingly and promptly notifies the in-charge and program officer.
·
Ensure patient safety is guaranteed before surgery, during surgery
and immediately after surgery.

Work with the facility in-charge to promote integration of
VMMC/EIMC services in the facility and that male circumcision service provision

Reporting to the VMMC Mobilization Advisor, coordinates all social
mobilization and demand creation strategies and activities within the sub

are shared out and achieved within expected time frame .
Responsibilities
·
Ensure that the set sub county targets for the VMMC clinical teams
within the sub county are shared out to the teams and ensure that the same
target for each team is met through continuous provision of clients for male
circumcision.
·
Coordinates all social mobilization activities in the sub county
which include organizing for all the social mobilization affairs in
collaboration with the MOH sub county health promotion department.
·
Provide leadership and mentorship to the area mobilization teams,
including CHWs, Peer Educators, target groups, satisfied clients and for MC
mobilization to be conducted within the national standards.

Conduct mapping of the sub county area of operation together with
the VMMC program officer in order to ensure that program mobilization resources
are efficiently allocated with regard to the total population of the sub
county; number of males in the target group; number of circumcised male;
mapping of all healthcare facilities in the area; identification of all
upcoming activities as per the community calendar, political events and
religious activities that the program may need to participate for MC demand
creation.

the sub county, including number of IEC material supplied; target s set; challenges
experienced and best practices noted.

Job Summary
Reporting to the VMMC Technical Advisor, ensures efficient
management and coordination of the VMMC/EIMC program in the Sub County region,
consistent with program goals. Works in close collaboration with the VMMC
advisor, QA coordinator, the Mobilization, data and surgical teams to ensure
efficient operation of activities and achievement of client safety and target
within the sub county
Responsibilities
·
Serves as a liaison to the Technical Advisor, the surgical staff,
the clients and the Ministry of Health.
·
Provides leadership in enforcing compliance to adherence to SOPs
and guidelines and continuous quality improvement practices for
VMMC/EIMC/Devices.
·
Ensure efficient management of day to day sub-county VMMC/EIMC
operational activities of the program in order to deliver targets in time and
within budgets.
·
Facilitate institutionalization of EIMC services as a component of
MNCH in eligible health facilities.
·
Facilitates and co-coordinates subcounty VMMC/EIMC steering
committee meetings, county QA meetings, quarterly joint CHMTs QA assessment and
supervisions of the VMMC sites.

Coordinates monthly CME activities for the VMMC/EIMC program at
the sites.

Prepares VMMC/EIMC implementation workplan and supervises its
