This person will be responsible for eliciting, analysing,
validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of the
project stakeholders, including customers and end users.

Lead requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring
that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible,
traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable

Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys,
site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business
analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or
requirements workshops.
·
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with business units that
rely on that information to define system requirements or organizational
processes.
·
Collect and analyze the project’s business requirements and
transfer the same knowledge to the development team.

Requirements
·
A University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies,
Informatics, Information Technology, Information Science from an institution
recognized by Commission of Higher Education.
·
At least 2 years Business Analysis experience in a busy
environment
·
Deep understanding of the Software Development life cycle process
·
Highly Motivated & Process driven with an eye for detail and
always willing to learn.
·
Team player and ready to work under pressure.
·
Should be able to maintain and promote a positive attitude and
work environment.

Database Administrator
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Databases Administration, the
role of the position is to ensure high performance, high availability,
integrity and security of the database
Responsibilities
·
Responsible for managing and supporting high performance, highly
available and mission critical database.
·
Review and design database structures to support business
requirements including logical and physical database modeling.
·
Install, configure and maintain database instances, creates
various database objects, creates users with appropriate roles and levels of
security.
·
Recommend and implement database security policies that are
consistent with KCB’s security guidelines.
·
Recommend and implement database backup and recovery strategies
that meet KCB’s recovery and availability requirements.
·
Proactively seeks opportunities to improve the environment
following established processes and procedures.
·
Perform database performance analysis, capacity planning, system
sizing and ongoing maintenance/tuning to ensure maximum performance.
·
Recommend best practices and ensure they are implemented and
incorporated into DBA procedures.
·
Seek opportunities to utilize new technology to solve technical

Requirements
·
A Bachelor’s degree in IT related field from an institution
recognized by Commission of Higher Education.
·
Certification in Oracle Database Administration is required
·
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Oracle Database
Administration.
·
Experience in an organisation with a key reliance on 24×7
reliability on its database.
·
System administration experience with Linux.
·
Must be a self-starter with attention to detail.
·
Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Senior Manager, Merchant Acquiring
Reporting to the Head of Channels in Retail Banking, the position
holder will grow the Merchant acquiring business within Card Centre department
and lead Acquiring team in service delivery & operational support.
Responsibilities

Drive the growth of the merchant acquiring business on volumes,
distribution, value proposition and bottom line
·
Spearhead the delivery of Merchant services support
·
Derive strategies for Merchant recruitment in line with the bank’s
objectives and ambition.

Champion and oversee Merchant relationship management
·
Support and provide direction to the Merchant technical and
operational support functions of the business
·
Lead the implementation of Merchant training
·
Offer the day to day management of the merchant acquiring teams
·
Identify, initiate & Steer the merchant acquiring internal
stakeholder engagements and relationships with support and related functions
and units.
·
Manage external stakeholder partnerships including card schemes,
regulators and business partners
·
Timely delivery of merchant acquiring projects for the business
Requirements
·
A Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field from an
institution recognized by Commission of Higher Education.
·
Professional certification in MBA or Banking is added advantage.
·
A minimum of 6 years’ experience in managing Card Business with
below responsibilities:

Sales, Relationship Management, Credit, Banking Operations,
·
Merchant Acquiring, Card Operations & Schemes Operations
·
Team Management & Project Management
·
Thorough knowledge of Card Business Products & Services with
extensive Banking Industry knowledge.
·
Excellent interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability
to network, generate new business and develop strong business relations.
·
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competencies in
championing high performance management.
·
A good understanding of Risk, Compliance policies and procedures.
