Qualifications / Requirements:
·         Certificate / Diploma in Hospitality Management / culinary stewarding from a reputable institution;
·         1 year experience in a busy establishment in the same role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures;
·         Clean and maintain floors and walls in kitchen and dish washing area by following standard procedures;
·         Clean and sanitize dishes and related service ware following established procedures
·         Ensure all operating equipment is in good and serviceable state;
·         Monitor the use of operating equipment at the wash-up to make sure there is no abuse or pilferage;
·         Maintain daily record of breakages and advice the Unit Chef of the appropriate action to be taken;
·         Check and ensure the cleaning area is kept clean and tidy at all times;
·         Ensures that all crockery and cutlery is cleaned and wiped thoroughly;
·         Ensures that all food production areas, cold rooms and stores are kept in very clean conditions;
·         Control the utilization and proper use of cleaning agents/ materials;
·         Ensure that proper hygiene is maintained at the wash-up by ensuring the use of correct cleaning materials for various equipment;
·         Ensure waste bin area is kept clean and tidy.

WE Free the Children a charity organization is looking to hire a Head of Department Tutor to be based in the Mara.
Qualifications / Requirements:
·         Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing / Higher diploma in Nursing/ Higher Diploma in Medical Education;
·         Must be registered with Nursing Council of Kenya;
·         At least 5 years teaching experience;
·         At least 3 years management work experience;
·         Experience in developing a teaching curriculum an added advantage;
·         Above 35 years;
·         Willingness to move to the Mara.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Shall assist the principal in overall training of nurses in the school in accordance with the syllabus of the Nursing Council and approved policies;
·         Assessment of the progress of the students during their training, in consultation with the tutors and ward sisters;
·         Ensuring a close collaboration with the Matron especially in designing and implementing learning experiences and student appraisal in the clinical area;
·         Ensuring (together with the Tutors) that discipline is upheld among the Students but in the case of referral or discontinuation of a student, the Principal is responsible. If the indiscipline is in the clinical area, include the Nurse in charge of the Hospital;
·         Coordination of students’ activities, internal experience, and external experiences;
·         Ensuring that students get enough experience and exposure in all areas of their training;
·         Ensuring (together with the welfare committee) the welfare of the students in the widest sense of the word: food, boarding, spiritual, recreation, and general welfare;
·         Ensuring the Continuing Education and that of the Tutors under.

Qualifications / Requirements:
·         Diploma in Food and Beverage production from a reputable institution;
·         4 years’ experience in a busy kitchen, minimum one year as a the Head Cook;
·         Good Knowledge of HACCP and HACCP;
·         Demonstrated ability to train and coach junior kitchen staff.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Oversee general kitchen’s daily operations;
·         Creating new dishes and menus;
·         Training kitchen staff on all kitchen standards and operations;
·         Monitoring and controlling stock levels;
·         Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed;
·         Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget
·         Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen;
·         Taking care of the kitchen’s accounts and creating a work roster;
·         Keep all kitchen staff motivated and inspired.

Qualifications / Requirements:
·         Diploma in Food and Beverage production from a reputable institution;
·         2-3 years food preparation experience
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Proper preparation and storage of food;
·         Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene;
·         Reviewing stock levels for food preparation;
·         Timely preparation of items on the menu;
·         Exhibit sense of urgency to ensure customer satisfaction;
·         Prepare food standards according to recipe guidelines;
·         Ensure  food safety procedures are followed at all times;

WE Free the Children a charity organization is looking to hire a Clinical Officer / Nurse Anesthetist to be based in the Mara.
Qualifications / Requirements:
·         Nursing or clinical Medicine; Specialty Anesthetist
·         3 plus years as an anesthetist Nurse/clinical officer
·         Registered with the relevant body
·         Willingness to move to the Mara
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Safely administration of anaesthesia and other pain killers to their patients both before, during and post-surgery, and other major medical procedures.
·         Monitoring patient’s vital signs and brain activity (to measure consciousness levels)
·         Meeting patients before their procedure to conduct pre-operative examinations (which includes measuring weight, height, fluid levels and other required vital signs).
·         Determining appropriate anaesthetic or sedation for patients based on pre-operative examination and prior medical history
·         Explaining anaesthetic process to patients and re-assuring them before they are led into the operating theatre under their supervision
·         Administering appropriate type of anaesthesia (local, regional, general or sedation) to patients via a variety of methods including inhalation or intravenous injection
·         Recording vital details, including type of anaesthesia administered, dosage, method of administration and patient’s condition
·         Positioning patients on operating tables, ensuring they are warm and comfortable
·         Monitoring patients throughout their medical procedure and dealing immediately with any problems that arise
·         Safely waking patients from their procedure whilst maintaining appropriate levels of pain killer/sedation without causing unnecessary nausea and side-effects
·         Working co-operatively with other medical professionals, including surgeons and theatre nurses to manage patients from end-to-end and deal with chronic pain complaints etc
·         Training medical students and fellow medical professionals on patient care related to the administration of anaesthetic agents, patient care and medical conditions
·         Ensure all records and reports are prepared accurately, submitted on Time, and filed appropriately
·         Ensure the security and monitoring of drugs used
·         Ensure total confidentiality is maintained for all client files, records, and correspondence
·         Ensure the maintenance of any equipment used at the Hospital and specifically the operating rooms
·         Demonstrate care techniques, and methods of disease prevention and rehabilitation
·         Assist patients to identify their own health needs and take appropriate action to meet those needs
·         Encourage healthy lifestyles by assisting other staff with health promotion activities
·         Dedicate time and effort in coming up with innovative solutions to cut across the health issues facing the communities we work with to ensure that the community is involved in all aspects of the health process
·         Consultation, Examination, Registration, Reporting, Diagnosis, PITC (Provider Initiated Testing and Counselling), Specimen Collection
·         Writing reports and submitting to the Ministry of Health, hospital manager and Associate Director, Health
·         Reading the results to patients and providing education surrounding the diagnosis

Qualifications / Requirements:
·         Certificate / Diploma in Hospitality Management from a reputable institution;
·         2 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry;
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Serve food to the customers;
·         Pre bus tables within one minute when the customers have cleared their food and seek customer satisfaction;
·         Approach the customer in an efficient and courteous manner;
·         Actively seek information from guests on how to improve restaurant performance;
·         Wipe tables and maintain cleanliness to the satisfaction of guests and corporate standards;
·         Resolve customer satisfaction complaints immediately they arise and where necessary report to the shift runner;
·         Ensure seating is available for all customers;
·         Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods;

Qualifications / Requirements:
·         Must have 3 years clinical experience
·         Must have trained on teaching /learning methodology
·         Must be a nurse
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Guide and supervise practice of students in the nursing laboratory setting utilising the course material provided by nursing faculty
·         Assist faculty in preparing lab packs for course manuals
·         Maintain safety and organisation of the nursing laboratory including the proper functioning of equipment and accurate inventory of supplies and reorder through the head of department
·         Submit repair reports to head of department
·         Assess the ability of students in performing assigned tasks
·         Communicate with faculty to meet student needs, providing feedback regarding progress or status of individual students
·         Serve as a college tutor to meet nursing student needs and proctor exams and/or supervise student classroom behavior as needed

Qualifications / Requirements:
·         KRCHN  with a diploma in medical education/ BSc. Nursing degree holder;
·         3 years teaching and clinical post-qualification experience;
·         Computer literacy an added advantage.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Teaching of clinical nursing/midwifery skills in a range of teaching-learning settings, including the skills laboratory and the practicum;
·         Develop a curriculum for our nursing students;
·         Conduct classes for KRCHN Nursing students;
·         Supervision of clinical and research activities carried out by our nursing students;
·         Formulation of the master rotation for students;
·         Assist in Administrative duties when called upon to do so;
·         Facilitating integration of students’ nursing practice with their academic studies;
·         Liaison with nursing sites for the purpose of providing support and advice to students and staff;
·         Promoting the integration of research knowledge into teaching-learning activities and facilitating the conduct of educational research.  Engagement in research and other activities contributing to the professional development of nursing or related areas.
