Kenya Utalii College (KUC) is a leading
African hospitality and tourism training institution. Established 47 years ago

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or its equivalent
·
Five (5) year’s working experience, three (3) of which must be in
a supervisory position
·
A member of professional body
·
A supervisory course lasting not less than three (3) weeks
·
Meets the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
·
Demonstrated results in work performance
Food & Beverage Service Lecturer

Reports To: Head, Food & Beverage Service
Terms of Service: Permanent
Responsibilities
·
Prepare teaching materials and aids and teach as per approved
curricula
·
Administer examinations in accordance with defined standards
·
Prepare reports for classes taught • Design and give students’
academic projects in Food & Beverage Service
·
Guidance and counselling of students
·
Setting and marking exams to ensure quality and standards of the
curricula is maintained and learning has taken place
·
Researching and coming up with new teaching notes and aids
·
Assist in interviews for student intakes
·
Administer examinations in accordance with examination standards
defined by the School
·
Handle student field assignments
Requirements
·
Master’s degree in Business Management or related field
·
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management
·
Diploma in Hotel Management (KUC) will be an added advantage
·
Five (5) years relevant experience, three (3) of which must be as
an Assistant Lecturer or a similar position
·
A member of a professional body where applicable
·
Demonstrated results in work performance
·
Possess good oral and written communication skills
·
Meets the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
