Design and Implement strategies to promote Press freedom and
safety of Journalists in Kenya
·
Monitor, document, report and respond to press freedom abuses and

Manager-Training & Media Development
Responsibilities
·
Develop, implement, and evaluate Media training and development
programs to promote the media sector in Kenya

Research and advise on the training needs of the media for

complex and integrated stakeholder engagement programs and initiatives to
improve and enhance the perceptions and experience of stakeholders including,
KUJ, Editors Guild, Media Owners Association, GOK and other associations

campaigns; advising on the management of community and industry concerns; and

Coordinating the work of the Regulatory Affairs section of the
Media Council.

Ensure strict implementation and compliance with the MCK Act 2013

Senior Accountant
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager
·
Tracking the utilization of departmental capital and recurrent
expenditure against the approved budget and reporting on the same;
·
Confirming the accuracy and completeness of accounts receivables
(invoicing, receipting, banking and reconciliations) and reporting on the same
as appropriate before payment;
·
Identifying any incidences of non-compliance with laid down
financial systems and financial risks facing the Corporation and recommending
remedial measures;

for the assessment of the performance of Kenyan media

Responsibilities
·
