Commercial Manager

Job Type: Full Time
Our client is among the leading real estate firms in Kenya that specializes in Land and estate developments all over Kenya.

Responsibilities

·         Drafting of contract agreements, inclusive of scope of services/works;
·         Oversight of Contract Administration, inclusive of design consultants and contractors within the programme;
·         Develop, review and update a change management system and procedures that capture complete, accurate and consistent baseline documents, and ensure changes in design and construction and any other change are controlled in accordance with the contract documents and/or programme controls procedures;
·         Oversee the change process to ensure uniformity of application across all existing contracts of the programme and the projects for design details, material approvals and other related items ;
·         Create and implement an internal Change Management Plan, Change Log, and associated governance processes;
·         Monitor changes and potential changes across the programme against the contractual and scope baselines;
·         Evaluate cost implications of changes to contracts that are determined as necessary to implement;
·         Alert the Employer of any actual, perceived or expected departure from contractual requirements and prepare analysis of potential issues, resolution options and related recommendations;
·         Procurement: lead/manage the entire tendering process from the development of procurement strategies, pre qualification, tender, review, through to the negotiation and award of consultants and contractors;
·         Proactively supervise all aspects of contracts within the programme including, but not limited to: monitoring contract compliance, terms and conditions, supervising and reviewing overall performance of service level agreements, managing receipt and documentation of change requests and coordinate the review process by appropriate programme stakeholders, ensure that contract related changes / variations are communicated to appropriate stakeholders, delivery of contract deliverables, payment procedures and management reporting;
·         Contribute to risk management process and review meetings.

Qualifications

·         Degree qualified in Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying
·         Able to work as part of a team and show good teamwork skills;
·         Have 5 years overseas experience as a minimum;
·         Have previous experience of working on high rise developments


Debt Collector
Job Type: Full Time
Our client is among the leading real estate firms in Kenya that specializes in Land and estate developments all over Kenya. They seek to recruit a Real Estate Debt Collector who will be responsible for reaching out to customer to collect payment for overdue bills, loans or other payments

Responsibilities

·         Create a list of people who have not made payments.
·         Locate customers using credit bureau information, background checks, loan documents, and other paperwork or databases.
·         Utilize computer systems to handle skip tracing.
·         Inform clients of overdue accounts and amount currently owed.
·         Ensure all customer information is correct, including phone numbers and addresses.
·         Set up repayment plans and new terms of sale.
·         Offer advice or refer customers to debt counselors.
·         Record new commitment to repay debt.
·         Report unsettled debts to credit bureaus.
·         Follow federal and state laws dealing with debt collection.

·         Print a debt analysis reports for management.

Qualifications

·         Diploma in Credit management
·         A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
·         Qualified credit professional with a CCP 2
·         Must have good communication, listening and negotiation skills.


Admin
Job Type: Full Time
Our client is among the leading real estate firms in Kenya that specializes in Land and estate developments all over Kenya. They seek to recruit an Admin Assistant a well-rounded Admin Assistant who can manage most office operations- Administrative, Reception and lease agreements.

Responsibilities

·         Organize office operations and procedures
·         Maintain office records
·         Receive visitors and guide them appropriately
·         Draft lease agreements for the tenants
·         Escalate any issues with tenants
·         Collect rent banking slips and reconcile them
·         Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date
·         Monitor and record phone calls
·         Control correspondences
·         Move around coordinating various properties
·         Maintain office and apartment’s equipment /inventories
·         Check stock to determine inventory levels
·         Manage office petty cash Requirements

Qualifications 

·         Diploma/Degree in Business Management or a related field
·         3-5 years’ experience as an office admin assistant
·         Experience working in real estate industry will be an added advantage
·         A good team player with excellent communication skills
·         Mature, responsible and well organized
