Retention Executive Contractor

The position holder will be responsible for proactively initiating customer interactions and activities focused on increasing customer lifetime value. They will also conduct outbound campaigns to educate, sell products & services, resolve escalations, record responses, recommend resolutions and action requests from Safaricom Home Customers. 

Responsibilities

·         Monitor & Manage all forms of churns within the channel for the Home Solutions products & services.
·         Educate & recruit specific segment customers on new and existing products within the  Home Solutions portfolio.
·         Devise and implement strategies that will drive customer product stickiness within the specified segment.
·         Capture value from existing products through effective growth stimulation and new products adoption within Safaricom Home.
·         Drive continual customer upgrade strategies of Home Solutions products and services.
·         Track and reduce demand of Named Accounts segment through Safaricom channels (Not limited to line 400).
·         Conduct welcome, health check and churn prevention campaign initiatives.
·         Retain contracts at risk of termination and manage termination process.
·         Carry out external surveys to ascertain customer knowledge, perception and quality of service
·         Repeat Caller Follow through.
·         Safaricom Home Retention Folder Management.

Requirements

·         Minimum – Diploma in a business or social discipline from a recognized institution. A degree is an added advantage.
·         At least 4 years working experience in a customer engaging environment, preferably 2 years in sales
·         Strong communication and selling skills
·         Proactive, confident, energetic and able to work under pressure with a positive attitude
·         Creative and complex problem solving skills
·         Self- motivating and requires minimum supervision
·         Project management skills

·         Integrity in handling customer proprietary information

Team Leader Agribusiness Contractor
Brief Description
The job holder will be the main point of contact on Digi farm and Connected Farmer Alliance (CFA) matters in Region. The individual leads a team of Extension Officers, Telesales and Brand Ambassadors (on need basis).
He/ She will manage partnerships and work closely with the Retail Centre Managers, Distribution and SOHO Area Sales Managers to grow our footprint and ensure that we maintain our top position in the industry.

Responsibilities

·         Work closely with Leadership to develop Agribusiness strategy and come up with an execution plan.
·         Develop and share weekly plans with the Head of Department, Vendor (I-Procure) and the Head Office Team
·         Submitting weekly Digifarm reports to the Head of Department.
·         Manage the Performance and engagement of the entire Agribusiness staff in the region by developing SMART Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which should be reviewed on a regular basis in accordance to the Organizations’ policy.
·         The role holder is the key interface between trade and Consumer Business Unit (CBU), Technology and other relevant Head Office Divisions. He/she offers backend support and service to the team and must ensure that
·         Upskill the Agribusiness team in the region with the relevant trainings and ensure that they are properly updated on any changes.
·         Manage all Governance and Risk aspects with regulators and vendors i.e. Learning Platform (Arifu), I- Procure, etc. to protect the company interests and minimize exposure to risk and loses.
·         Carry out periodic market intelligence and stay updated on competitor activities to gain insights on developing Agribusiness services. 
·         Update extension officers on current development and changes made on Agribusiness system from time to time.
·         Ensuring that grievances aired out by farmers through the Extension Officers, Depots and Telesales team are escalated and resolved to the satisfaction of the farmers.
·         Keeping track of what is happening at every depot in the region through extension officers.
·         Carry out periodic training for all Safaricom employees in the region on Agribusiness.
·         Keep abreast with the latest technological inventions related to agriculture and communicate the same information to extension officers.
·         Keep track of monthly audit and mystery shopping reports done at our depot outlets, farm inputs, Loan records, and ensure that all audit queries are resolved conclusively

Requirements

·         At least a Degree in Agribusiness related field from a recognized university
·         2-3 years of work experience in Agriculture or related field
·         Knowledge of Safaricom products and services.
·         Experience in managing a team
