Broadcast IT Specialist

Reporting to the Head of Production and Technology, the IT Broadcast Specialist the IT Broadcast Specialist IT

Responsibilities

·         TV studio and connected backoffice IT technology operation and business continuity

·         Operation emergency providing workarounds
·         Liaising with studio technical supervisor
·         Supporting editorial and creative staff providing quick IT technical solutions
·         Providing IT helpdesk services
·         Development and maintenance of technology

Qualifications

·         Degree in Computer science or any other technical related field
·         At least 3 years of TV studio IT system operation, experience in video and audio technology
Skills
·         Familiarity with video/audio and broadcast IT system design concept and equipment
·         Familiarity in Non-linear Editing, storage and archive systems
·         A good understanding of video and audio file and compression formats
·         Extensive knowledge in IP network design and administration
·         Windows/Linux server-client system administration skills and experience
·         Thrive in a high-pressure environment, attentive to detail with the ability to multi task.


Studio Technical Operators

Responsibilities

·         TV studio technology operation in the following areas;
·         Video switcher operation, Camera engineering
·         Audio mixer, audio engineering, Microphones, micro-ports management
·         Playout server and Studio Rec/Play server operation
·         Studio graphics, virtual set operation
·         Supporting editorial staff and director providing quick technical solutions
·         Directed by Studio Technical Supervisor

Qualifications

·         The ideal candidate must have a minimum 3 years of TV studio operation experience in video and audio
technology.
·         Familiarity with video and audio system design concept and equipment
·         Familiarity with TV news and magazine production technical requirements
·         Equipment operator skills and experience
·         Equipment setup and engineering skills
·         Attention to detail
·         Be able to multi-task
·         Thrive in a high-pressure environment
·         Comfortable with working a 7-day rotating roster


Full Stack Web Developer

Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the Software Development Manager, the Web Developer Full Web Developer Full Stack

Responsibilities

·         Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
·         Creating web applications using standard practices.
·         Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
·         Responsive website development
·         Client website support (content, features, functionality)
·         Research, vet, learn, and deploy bleeding-edge technology and best practices on an ongoing basis
·         Write scalable, maintainable, and reusable code
·         Provide quality assurance control and cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility on all projects

Requirements

·         A minimum of five (5+) years Web Development experience with at least three (3+) years in Full Stack Development.
·         He/she must be passionate about web developing and excited about modern web development.
revious and recent experience must be in a similar environment.
Skills
·         Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent
·         Front-end & back-end website development using Server-side languages like PHP, Python, React, Ruby,Java, JavaScript, and .Net
·         Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
·         Web server technologies like Node.js, J2EE, Apache, Nginx, ISS, etc.
·         Frameworks related to their server-side language of choice like: Express.js, Ruby on Rails, CakePHP, etc.
·         Responsive frameworks such as Foundation or Bootstrap
·         Git version control
·         Personable, enthusiastic, a strong communicator, and are detail oriented.
