With the ongoing expansion we seek to recruit a professional for the following vacant position:
ACU Nurse
Overall Responsibility: Reporting to the ACU In charge, the successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of professional nursing care by providing quality nursing services to meet the needs of critically ill patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
·         Demonstrate clinical practice competence in nursing management of critically ill patients and those undergoing hemodialysis
·         Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives in the unit and in other departments.
·         Ensures intra and interdepartmental collaboration
·         Provide safe environment for patients through adherence to infection control practices and other safety policies, and perform timely safety checks.
·         Implement safe custody and correct administration of drugs.
·         Participate actively in CNE / CME / Audits.
Requirements and Qualifications
·         BSc Nursing
·         KRCHN/KRN
·         Critical Care Nursing Certification.
·         Basic Life Support (BLS)
·         Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
·         Valid Kenyan Nursing practice license.
·         Previous experience in Critical Care
·         Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
·         Demonstrate Critical thinking and Analytical skills

Sonographer – Bungoma Medical Centre
Overall Responsibility: Reporting to the Radiology Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, high quality diagnostic imaging services through the use of modern imaging technology that includes computerized X-ray machine and multi probe ultrasound unit.
Key Responsibilities
·         To undertake initial patient evaluation, provide diagnostic radiographs, perform ultrasound and Doppler examinations by capturing images of diagnostic value.
·         Ensure radiation safety measures and protection are observed to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety to patient’s staff and self.
·         Ensure scheduled maintenance, and calibration of medical equipment’s are in place and followed.
·         Ensure accurate documentation and care of patients’ records.
Requirements and Qualifications
·         Higher Diploma in Ultrasound
·         Two (2) years working experience in similar position
·         Registered and licensed by The Kenya Radiation Protection Board
·         A member of Society of radiographers in Kenya (SORK).
·         High level of confidentiality and discretion.
·         Trustworthiness.
·         Good communication skills.

Clinical Support Services Coordinator
Reporting to the Head of Projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality of care to all clients seeking services in Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) in selected facilities within Kaloleni sub county-Kilifi County.
In addition to this, identify and transfer skills, knowledge and best practice on a prioritized basis, from Aga Khan Health Service, Kenya to selected facilities of AQCESS project with a view of adopting a sustainable high quality, cost effective and patient safety practices in all related clinical areas, that will support the implementation of the project and ensure care is seamless and integrated to achieve best possible outcomes for Maternal, Newborn and Child health and their families.
Required qualifications, attributes and experience
·         Degree / Diploma in Nursing or any Healthcare related field.
·         Midwifery skills and knowledge is desirable
·         Should be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya and also in possession of valid practicing license
·         Minimum 5 years working experience. Working experience with MoH systems is an added advantage.
·         Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Self –starter with the ability to establish and share a vision of high quality services
·         Ability to work in a team environment and to encourage collaboration
