·
Manage bank owned premises, monitor rent payments and ensure that
tenants have leases.
·
Ensure processing of statutory obligations for bank owned
properties.
·
Site acquisition for new Branches/Departments and ATMs.
·
Identify, measure and acquire space as well as negotiate leases
for the Bank property (both leased and owned).
·
Participate in development of annual and half-year recurrent
budgets in respect to rentals and services as well as develop the Unit’s annual
and half-year work plan.
·
Participate in the Bank’s long-term space rationalization &
allocation efforts.
·
Provide support to the Bank in efficient maintenance and service
of bank assets to ensure that assets are functional and in good condition at
all times through administration of service agreements, contracts and leases.
·
Review contracts and service level agreements for cost management,
efficiency and optimization as well as tender and negotiate service contracts
on behalf of the bank.
·
Co-ordinate the engagements between service providers and the Bank
in administration of contracts and agreements with the Bank’s Legal Department.
Qualifications
·
A bachelor’s degree in Land Economics, Building Economics, Real
Estate or Law.
·
At least 3 years’ experience in general property management.
·
Project management and client management skills.
·
Negotiation skills and Analytical skills.
·
Business awareness.
·
Contracts & SLA management skills.
·
Knowledge of the bank’s policies & procedures.
·
Good understanding of the contract law, land law and arbitration
related to property management and contracts.
·
In-depth knowledge of property management, acquisition and
registration.
·
Knowledge of the various professions in the construction industry.

needs.
Responsibilities

Develop the core positioning and measuring for mortgage product
and review existing products in line with emerging customer needs.
·
Establish and develop strategic partnerships with various players
in real estate industry value chain.
·
Monitor performance of mortgage portfolio across the assigned
business originating units as well as prepare various product management
reports for decision making.
·
Provide high level of service to customers both internally and
externally through prompt feedback within agreed turnaround time and closure of
issues related to mortgage product from the business originating units.
·
Organize and participate in property open days, expos, corporate
scheme clinics, activations and branch visits
·
Train the sales force across the branch network and offer
technical support in appraisal of mortgage related applications.
·
Support business originating units achieve and exceed set mortgage
portfolio growth and product profitability targets.
·
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and
contributing to training programmes, educational workshops, corporate social
responsibility events, team building and any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
·
A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or any other business related
field from a recognized University with at least three years working experience
as Mortgage Sales Manager in a financial institution.
·
Professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
·
Proven knowledge in all mortgage products and related business
aspects is an added advantage.
·
Proactive, assertive and highly adaptable to change with strong
analytical skills and customer centric mindset.
·
Personal organization and thoroughness coupled with the ability to
work under minimum supervision with good Judgment skills.
·
Ability to analyze data, information and situations for effective
work performance with excellent attention to details and quality output.
