Job summary:
Supporting the commissioner’s agenda in identification ofgrowth
opportunities, resource allocation, strategy executionand monitoring

Responsibilities

Qualifications
·
Master’s Degree in Public Policy & Administration, Project
Professional Management, Commerce, Statistics or related fields from
arecognized university.
·
At least twelve (8) years of post-graduate experience with at
·
Experience least five (5) years’ experience at the level of
Manager.
·
A clear understanding of the Authority’s mandate, business
·
systems and data management journey.

Lead the Corporate Planning process and administration of staff in
the PME Section.
Responsibilities

KRA is seeking result-oriented, self-driven individuals with high
integrity to fill the following vacant positions:
Job summary:
To provide support for Coordination of International Tax and Trade
issues at corporate level in close liaison with the Revenue Departments,
Marketing, the National Treasury and the EA Revenue Technical Committee.
Key Responsibilities
·
Provide tax support to internal stakeholders on a variety of
international tax and transfer pricing policies.
·
Provide technical advice on customs laws.
·
Provide technical guidance in Treaty Negotiations.
·
Provide technical leadership in development of appropriate Tax
treaty model.
·
Provide necessary strategic and innovative guidance to both
internal and external stakeholders on Treaty Interpretation.
·
Provide necessary strategy and innovation in Corporate Budget
Coordination Process.
·
Articulating KRA Budget Proposals at Treasury and Parliament.
·
Enhance staff technical capacity through strategic and innovative
guidance to the Line Departments Technical Staff.
·
Participate in deliberation of budget proposals at Corporate
Level.
·
Articulate KRA position and role of various Agencies in Trade
Facilitation.
·
Attend to any other assignment related to these duties.
Qualifications
·
University Degree, Upper 2nd Class Hon, in a relevant field
Economics, Finance, Law or Accounting.
·
Master’s Degree in any of the above fields will be an added
advantage.
Relevant work Experience
·
At least 5 years of quality experience in technical areas of
experience Tax Administration, Treaty Negotiations or Economic
Policy is required.
·
Must have working experience in managerial position.
