Position Title: Relationship Manager, Large Commercial
Available Positions: One (2)
Division: Corporate Banking Division
Reporting to: Head Commercial Banking
Position Scope: The relationship manager is required to market and manage Large Commercial Business customer relationships through a pro-active and consultative approach with detailed understanding of customers’ business (es) to offer sustainable business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
·         Evaluate new and existing customer applications for credit and offer advise on suitability of solution and risk acceptance (review applications against approved Product Development Documents, Departmental Operating Instructions and National Bank Policies and standards).
·         Initiate marketing and credit calls with existing and potential customers while keeping a record of all customer calls.
·         Initiate periodic review of accounts under his/her portfolio
·         Manage the existing Liability portfolio to protect the Banks exposure and maximize returns in a manner consistent with Corporate Banking strategy and in line with the Bank’s policy.
·         Aggressively market for Liabilities from new and existing clients and manage the acquired portfolio.
·         Monitor Liability trends and overall pricing of deposits in line with the strategy for department.
·         Ensure adherence to anti money laundering guidelines/principles and keep alert to the risk of money laundering and support in the Banks efforts in combating it.
·         Responsible for identifying your customers, knowing your customer, reporting suspicious transactions or attempts and safeguarding records thereof.
·         Evaluate risks associated with individual transactions, products and customers on an ongoing basis e.g. excesses
·         Analyse and review Company financials, Company Management Documents and associated risks for purposes of providing recommendations for Credit Applications.
·         Liaise with Credit Department to recommend appropriate facility/structure/product solutions to meet individual customer needs.
·         Provide feedback to Bank Management and stakeholders with respect to customer requirements, Bank products, customer Queries etc.
·         Foster effective working partnerships with corporate staff and other partners with a view to grow the business.
Skills & Experience:
·         A Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
·         At least Eight (8) years experience in Business / Commercial Banking relationship management of which five (5) must be in management level.
·         Good knowledge of Banks products, services, procedures and policies, especially KYC & Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
·         Formal training in relationship management & credit/lending knowledge is an added advantage
·         Experience in a sales /customer service environment will be an added advantage
·         Strong negotiation, persuasion & presentation skills
·         Good interpersonal & communication skills (oral & written)
·         Customer oriented & team player
·         Demonstrate high integrity and ethical standards

Position Title: Mobile Banking Manager – Acquisition

Reporting to: Head, Alternate Channels &Cards
Position Scope: The successful candidate will be responsible for the recruitment of customers through the mobile and digital channels, drive bulk acquisition strategies and funding of the accounts through seamless on boarding, customer education and customer engagements via marketing campaigns.
The manager will seek partnerships with third parties that can aid achievement of the goal.
Key Responsibilities:
·         Develop processes for bulk acquisition of accounts and marketing plans in line with the Mobile banking strategy.
·         Optimally drive funding of the newly acquired accounts.
·         Define and plan Mobile and Digital enhancements to promote uptake.
·         Engage key institutions and strategic partners to drive digital accounts sales through their outlets.
·         Relationship management of partner institutions and strategic partners for optimal acquisition through their partnerships.
·         Manage mobile and digital product sales presentations and trainings within and without the bank.
·         Develop and agree on key KPIs for Mobile and Digital account products, measure result against KPI and develop action plans to address shortfalls.
·         Manage projects on the roll out of new digital account acquisition technologies by drawing Product papers, Carrying out UAT and OATs and daily monitoring of channel function.
Key Performance Indicators
·         Number of digital accounts opened.
·         KYC, AML and monitoring other risk parameters.
·         Product Profitability
·         New accounts funding.
·         Digital accounts activation versus attrition
·         Excellence in customer experience during on boarding.
Education, Skills & Experience:
·         An undergraduate degree in a business related field from a recognized University.
·         MBA an added advantage
·         At least three (3) years experience in Banking
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Strong background in product development and roll out, partner relations and change management.

Position scope: The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing Credit Cards as budgeted while ensuring the credit card products are competitive, profitable and functioning as promised to the customer.
To achieve the objectives, engagement of third parties e.g. vendors, Visa etc and tracking product and process KPIs will be managed on a day to day basis.
Key Responsibilities
·         Develop new products and drive Credit Card acquisition and marketing plans in line with the card business strategy.
·         Optimally drive growth in new Credit Card customer acquisition and activations.
·         Define and plan Credit Card product enhancements to promote issuance and usage.
·         Engage strategic partners to drive credit card uptake through their institutions.
·         Relationship management of high net worth Credit Card customers, institutions and third parties involved offering the card product to the customer.
·         Manage card product sales presentations and trainings within and without the bank.
·         Develop and agree on key KPIs for each Credit Card product, measure result against KPI and develop action plans to address shortfalls.
·         Manage projects on the roll out of new Credit Card products.
·         Drive bank sales staff productivity in credit card issuance
Education, Skills & Experience
·         A Bachelor’s degree in a business related field from a recognized University.
·         MBA an added advantage
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Demonstrate hands on experience on card product development.

Position Scope: The successful candidate will be responsible for exponential growth of numbers of Mobile and Wallet transactions in order to derive commensurate NFI, build customer engagement via self service and grow other bank products via cross selling and up selling.
Key Responsibilities:
·         Develop new Mobile functions and marketing plans in line with the Bank Mobile and Digital Banking strategy.
·         Develop and implement strategies for maximizing revenue generation through cross sell routes, customer / channel / process / partnership management.
·         Optimally drive growth of Mobile Banking transactions via Advertising, Customer education and promotional activities.
·         Define and plan Mobile and Digital Banking enhancements to promote usage.
·         Develop strategic alliances with tactical partners to drive usage.
·         Relationship management of institutions and third parties that can drive active usage of Mobile and Digital banking services.
