About the Role
Key responsibilities for the role
include:

Being the go-to-person on the team
when it comes to campus cleanliness, maintenance & repairs, facilities management,
security and utilities.
·
Responsible for the operation,
supervision and maintenance of building systems to provide continuous supply of
water, electrical power, and other utilities required for operations.
·
Inspect the building and other
structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions in need of
repair.
·
Prepare a schedule for maintenance
matters with the operations team and agree when work will be carried out.
·
Perform routine building maintenance
tasks in a timely manner.
·
Minimize maintenance disruptions to
the running of the school.
·
Adequately respond to maintenance
requests.
·
Ensure that all building management
equipment has appropriate policy and standard level.
·
Respond adequately to emergencies or
urgent issues as they arise.
Skills and Qualifications required:
·
2+ years experience in facilities
management.
·
Degree or Diploma in a related field.
·

Driving operational excellence in our
day-to-day operations of our schools.
·
Building the playbooks for how we
should be running operations now and as we think about scale across Kenya.
·
Building and leading training
programmes for the staff to execute those playbooks.
·
Work with our property and facilities
team to build a robust maintenance plan to manage our buildings and campuses.
·
Helping to monitor and manage the
operations budget & identify areas of savings / optimizations.
·
Support our School Operations Leader
in managing the various teams such as school admin, security and facilities.
Skills and Qualifications required:

A minimum of 4 years of related work
experience preferably in business operations, project management, marketing,
event management and/or finance operations.

At least 2 years spent in a
supervisory/leadership role demonstrating progressive responsibility.

lessons.

Create year-long Scope &
Sequences for your subject areas and grade levels

Create materials that go along with each
lesson

Create a full unit’s worth of
material that culminates in Project Based Learning

Work with the Team Lead and classroom

Work with learning designers in
Humanities and Math/Science to create integrated projects and investigations

Create strong
assessments/rubrics/continuums/checklists that allow each teacher to evaluate

Create assessments that infuse

into the questions (upper primary).

About the Role
Key responsibilities for the role
include:

Driving operational excellence in our

Assist with implementation of any and
all initiatives put forth by Operations team.
·
Leads and/or provides support in the
execution of projects related to school goals – renovation, construction, new
policies/systems, etc.
·
Ensures smooth campus operations
(including evening and weekend activities) by liaising closely with resident
teaching staff and operations team.
·
Supports in the successful running of
various aspects of school operations – Library, Student Support Services,
Kitchen operations, Sports Activities, etc.
·
Assists in forecasting and managing
the school facilities budget.
·
Assists in doing various cost
analysis to identify operational improvements
·
Responsible for planning, assigning
and directing contract/casual staff, including cleaning and security staff
·
Responsible for appraising staff
performance; rewarding and disciplining contract/casual staff; and addressing
complaints and resolving problems.
Skills and Qualifications required:

you are applying for. Teachers participate in a half-day selection day at one
of our campuses as well as deliver a lesson to a class.

In-person interviews: at this point
you will visit one of our schools to meet the team and participate in a series
of in-person interviews.
·
Final interview: you’ll have a final
conversation with the hiring manager before decisions are made.
