Responsibilities
·
Ensuring the security of patients,
visitors, staff and property of the Hospital.
·
Monitoring and observing all
operations within the Hospital premises through electronic surveillance systems
for any irregular activities.
·
Preparing reports documenting all significant
events and investigations, crimes committed, lost or found property, security
lapses, and safety hazards.
·
Conducting investigations and
ensuring that proper evidence is acquired, preserved, corroborated and
documented.
·
Providing consultation and advice to
other departments on various Security matters.
·
Proactively respond to security
emergencies within the hospital and liaising with both internal and external
response teams.
·
Inspecting equipment, structures or
materials to identify possible causes of security lapses.
·
Conducting routine security patrols,
monitoring and evaluating performance levels for outsourced services.
·
Conducting security surveys with the
aim of improving on the Hospital’s integrated security solutions.
·
Reporting and dispatching available
security personnel to incident scenes and continually monitoring the team’s
performance at the scene.
·
Overseeing security services offered
to clients, hospital deliveries, key management, parking management and cash
escorts as required from time to time.
·
Liaising with the government law
enforcement agencies on security matters affecting the Hospital
Qualifications
·
Diploma in security management or any
related field is an added advantage.
·
2 years progressive work experience
in a similar position in a reputable institution.
·
Training from the disciplined forces
is an added advantage
·
Strong investigative and analytical
skills.
·
Effective verbal and written
communication skills.
·
Technical skills in security systems
installation will be an added advantage.
·
Computer literate.
Procurement Assistant

Reporting to the Procurement Coordinator.
Responsibilities
·
Procuring goods and services for the
Hospital through prompt conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders.
·
Managing the quotation process and
expediting the delivery of goods and services.
·
Assisting in supplier pre-qualification
and participate in the opening of tenders
·
Working in conjunction with the line
managers to ensure clear specification of goods/services.
·
Processing purchase requisitions and
ensuring they are duly approved by the relevant signatories before converting
into purchase orders.
·
Analyzing requests for quotation.
·
Tracking purchase orders for approval
and forwarding to suppliers.
·
Preparing weekly supplier delivery
plans for review and implementation.
·
Prepare weekly delivery status
progress reports.
·
Ensuring delivery of own and
departmental key result areas.
Qualifications
·
Degree in Supply Chain Management or
related course.
·
CIPS Graduate Diploma in Purchasing
and Supply.
·
Experience with ERP software.
·
Knowledge of contract law is an added
advantage
·
3 years’ work experience

Credit Controller

Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful
applicant will participate in Formulation, Reviewing and Implementation of The
Nairobi Hospital’s credit control procedures.
Responsibilities
·
Formulating, reviewing and
implementing credit control policies.
·
Developing service level agreements
and executing 3rd party contract.
·
Ensuring stability of cash flows for
operational and investment purpose through preparing and implanting cash
collection budget.
·
Ensuring that all transactions in the
department are complaint with statutory and hospital regulations.
·
Developing, facilitating and
maintaining efficient admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
·
Overseeing key account and customer
relationship management.
·
Developing credit management
capability within the department.
·
Facilitating effective billing and
revenue capture.
·
Identifying changes in payment
patterns and proposing action to avert indebtedness.
·
Handling disputed bills and
negotiating to bring payment within the agreed terms.
·
Undertaking account reconciliation
and sending out timely client statements letters as may be agreed from time to
time.
·
Ensuring monthly and year end
processing deadlines are met as required.
·
Championing customer service
excellence and continual improvement.
Qualifications
·
B. Com of Commerce degree majoring in
Accounting or its equivalent.
·
CPA (K).
·
7 years’ working experience with at
least (3) at leadership level.
·
Expert knowledge in credit
management.
·
Strong leadership skills.
·
Sound problem solving and decision
making skills.
·
Refined customer service skills.
·
Excellent negotiations skills.
