Job Vacancy: Donor / Client Database Clerk

The Organization: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – a leading wildlife conservancy that works to conserve wildlife, provides a sanctuary for great apes and to generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary enterprises for re-investment in conservation and community development is seeking high caliber, self - motivated and dedicated applicants in the position of Donor / Client Database Clerk.

Role Summary: Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager and the direct supervision of the Database Manager, the successful candidate will uphold data integrity on Salesforce, manage the membership programme, customize e-communications content, generate reports from Salesforce, conduct market research using our existing client database sources and support the marketing team.

Role Deliverables

1. Data entry & cleansing.
This person is responsible for all data entry (GateApp entry follow up, donor information, new member information, contact / account records, business cards and so on).

They will also be responsible for reduplication of records and filling in data gaps in records. This also includes consolidation of donations & grants records from external contributing data sources.
2. Membership programme day-to-day management.
This person is responsible for all fulfillment of the membership programme including order new cards, getting them to the clients and making sure payment has been submitted. 

They will also be responsible for working with the Finance department and administer receipt of cash, cheques, credit cards and securities.
3. Content writing for E-communications.
This person will be expected to assist the Communications team with the production of routine emails as needed and will be expected to update existing and new emails journeys templates and campaigns. 

They will also be responsible for the production and distribution of e-communications (newsletters, thank you letters, new member letters, adoption updates, evites, and announcements).
4. Generation of reports & summaries.
This person is expected Identify and report on lead and customer trends in Salesforce relevant to growing revenue using Salesforce reports and dashboards. 

This involves creating ad hoc reports and dashboards and updating the existing reports based on marketing team needs. 

They may also be responsible for compiling comprehensive reports based on their data findings.
5. Market research & feedback analysis.
This individual is responsible for obtaining market research, such as current trends in their niche and the needs and desires of clients from on premise feedback, social media feedback and email feedback. 

This person will analysing data on Salesforce using reports and conducting surveys via email or social media. 

6. User support

This involves monthly consolidation of feature requests and bugs from other marketing team and other Salesforce users. 

The marketing administrator is expected to provide ongoing user support and training programs for the Salesforce platform.

7. Assisting with marketing / branding services as required
