We are inviting candidates for the following positions:
 
1. Project Manager (ECCO Project)

Kisumu 

1 Position
 
The Project Manager will report to the Program Manager EducationS S/he has oversight of all other contributing staff on this project(s).
 
This position is primarily responsible for the project by ensuring successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring in a gender responsive fashion, controlling and closure of the project. 

S/he will be accountable for project staff management, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder and partner relationship management, designing and development of complimentary or new funding
proposals and ensuring quality is delivered throughout the project life.
 
The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of Plan Kenya’s Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCO) projects. 

S/he will have managed project budgets over and above USD2 million preferably across various implementation sites and have worked with partners. 

Please note this position will be available to be transferred or incorporate management of other projects as advised by senior management
 
2. Project Officer (ECCO Project) 

Homa Bay 

1 Position
 
The project aims to improve child wellbeing (health, learning and protection/participation) in targeted vulnerable and marginalized communities through effective and holistic early childhood supports.
 

Reporting to the Project Coordinator - ECCD, the Project Officer (PO) - Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) is required to develop work plans, implement, monitor and report on progress of gender sensitive project activities for the benefit of the targeted communities. 

S/he will be the community mobilizer and will work closely with partners, relevant line ministries, private sector players and community based organizations to ensure synergy and integration of project interventions 

S/he will be accountable for the management of the project budgets.

3. Senior Project Manager (Tulinde Tusome Project)  

Kilifi 

1 Position
 
In partnership with Global Affairs Canada (GAC), Plan International Kenya is implementing a multi-disciplined education and child protection project titled Tulinde Tusome.

The project’s ultimate outcome is improved access to protective and quality school and community environments for children, particularly vulnerable girls and boys, in Kwale and Kilifi Counties. 

The project spans 5 years from July 2014 to November 2019 and targets 180,000 direct beneficiaries and 1,700,000 indirect beneficiaries. 

Plan collaborates with multiple partners in the implementation of this project, including government ministries and civil society organizations.
 
The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Manager is to lead the strategic outcomes of Tulinde Tusome by ensuring effective, timely and coordinated management of this 10+ million CAD project. 

This role is responsible for strategic direction and planning, results achievement, quality programming and implementation, financial management, personnel management, donor relations and reporting, stakeholder and partner relationship management, and monitoring & evaluation.
