Job Vacancies: Front Office Intern and Accountant
 
Our client is a leading East Africa media and communications agency that specializes in Media and Advertising, Public Relations, Activations, Experiential Marketing and Digital Production. 

They are urgently looking to fill various positions namely the, front Office intern and Accountant.

Accountant (25-30K)
 


Specific Duties and Responsibilities
·                     Prepares monthly reconciliations for collection and administration accounts
·                     Reconciliation and settlement of statutory NHIF/PAYE and taxes such as VAT & withholding tax payments
·                     Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
·                     Captures, receives, processes, posts and analyzes all financial transactions on a daily basis
·                     Monitors customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
·                     Ensures data integrity at the entry point and output level
·                     Confirms banking of money collected.
·                     Any other duties that may be assigned
Job Requirements – Education, experience, skills and competencies
·                     Bachelors Degree in Commerce (Accounting option)
·                     CPA section 2 and above with at least 1-2 year's experience
·                     Knowledge of I-TAX, taxation and KRA deadline dates
·                     Knowledge and experience of using computerized accounting systems such as quick books
·                     In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel
·                     Must have a good understanding of financial concepts and pay keen attention to detail.
·                     Ability to multi-task and get things done to completion
·                     Prior experience working in the advertising industry will be an added advantage
Front Office Intern (Ksh, 15,000)
 
The front office intern will be in charge of managing the front office in order to ensure the highest standards of service in accordance with the company’s procedures.
 
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
·                     Should be capable of answering a multi-line phone system
·                     Greets , welcomes and directs guests or clients in a professional manner
·                     Responds to complaints, service issues and other general questions or concerns as appropriate
·                     Responsible for promoting various offers and services of the organization
·                     Maintains appropriate records including, ensuring that filing is done properly.
·                     Any other duties that may be assigned
Job Requirements – Education, experience, skills and competencies
·                     A degree/diploma in Business administration or related field.
·                     Must be professional, very presentable and convey professionalism with excellent people and communication skills.
·                     Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, (Outlook, Access and Excel).
·                     Fast, innovative learner with proven ability to work without supervision and with deadlines
·                     A very good team player
·                     Prior work experience will be an added advantage
