Sales & Marketing Manager
Position location to be determined by home country of successful candidate in a jurisdiction (US state or country) where WVI is registered to operate.
Responsibilities
·         Create, lead and drive an aggressive LMMS product sales plan ensuring sales are quadrupled by 2020, the footprint of LMMS (geographically & agency base) is increased and revenue targets for every year are met or exceeded.

·         Transform the LMMS into a cutting edge, forward thinking, and thought leading brand within the humanitarian industry resulting in significantly increased market share, market penetration, and overall brand equity & value.
·         In FY18, secure a minimum of $500,000 and in FY19 a minimum of $750,000 and then by FY20, secure a minimum of $1 million annually for product development & product maintenance.
·         This should be done through creating and maintaining a healthy pipeline of proposals for grants to major donors, corporations, innovation funds, institutional donors and any other source of funding.
Member of the LMMS leadership team.
Provide input and contribute to the LMMS team and the overall Capabilities and Effectiveness team objectives.
Requirements
·         University degree in Marketing, Information Technology, International Development, Business Administration or equivalent related to field.
·         Strong empirical knowledge of both the humanitarian/development and business sectors.
·         Ability to think strategically, work successfully “outside the box” whilst being able to translate ideas into implementation.
·         Strong interpersonal skills.
·         Business development and finance.
·         Strong project and information management skills, with the ability to coordinate across various teams.
·         IT technical proficiency with basic knowledge on personal computers, networking and/or database systems is required.
·         Five years experience in sales, marketing, and communications (ideally in B2B sales).

·         Proven ability to initiate and manage cross-sector/multi-sector relationships.
·         Demonstrated ability to direct, work and foster culturally diverse team.

Responsibilities
Set Strategic Priorities:
·         Develops annual WASH Business Plans with the Regional WASH Directors, Support Offices, and National teams.
·         Provides thought WASH leadership both within and outside WV.
·         Ensures integration of WV distinctives and ethos in WASH implementation.
·         Ensure alignment of WASH programming with global sector approaches and project models.
·         Ensure overall compliance with Partnership standards and industry standards.
·         Oversee the quality and coverage of WASH programming.
·         Champion cross-sector collaboration for integration of WASH with other sectors.
Provide Operational Accountability:
·         Ensure accountability of national and regional portfolios to delivery WASH outcomes as defined in Business Plans.

·         Measure extent to which resourcing opportunities meet WASH operations needs and impact child well-being.
·         Provide high quality technical support to National Offices on the development of Technical Approach and Technical Programs to address WASH needs.
External Engagement:
·         Actively positions WV as the NGO of choice with potential and key partners, donors and stakeholders through quality WASH programming and evidence of impacts.
·         Participates in high level international and regional meetings, forums and conferences as required.
·         Collaborates with Faith and Development actors externally as we seek to integrate faith into all our programming.
Build Capacities:
·         Determines the technical capacity needs for the Field WASH teams.
·         Builds capability of the Field WASH professionals and community of practice.

Qualifications
·         Master’s degree required in international relief and development, engineering or business, plus related professional work experience.
·         Excellent in written reporting and in verbal communication in English.
·         Strong experience and proven skills in leading a team of technical professionals.
·         Leader with minimum 5 years’ experience designing and leading WASH programming in the developing world.
·         In-depth knowledge/expertise in WASH programming including evidence based best practices.
·         Strong relational and networking skills, demonstrated ability to supervise teams, and significant experience engaging with donors and fundraisers.
·         Strong experience in working with and managing large grant portfolios for foundations, bilateral and multilateral donors.
·         Strong experience and proven skills in working effectively across cultures to advance priorities and achieve change, in situations without direct authority.

Resource Development Manager
To develop Strategic Direction for Branding World Vision and coordination of technical engagement & intelligent research on Corporate donor strategies, products focus and forecasts, prepositioning for solicited and unsolicited opportunities and generate set annual Local income for World Vision Kenya through Development and implementation of the National Resource Development Plan for World Vision Kenya.
The incumbent shall contribute strategically to development and implementation of a WVK Brand Strategy, National Resource Development strategy, corporate donor engagement plans, grant acquisition and donor retention strategies. The Manager will serve as a main link between World Vision Kenya and focused corporate donors.
Responsibilities
Grow Local Income; strengthen GAM Processes & Ensure Effective Donor Retention
·         Develop and regularly review and update the National Resource Development (NRD) strategy & Coordinate its implementation.
·         Actively engage a portfolio of diverse corporates & local foundations;
·         Local Income fundraising targets for all WVK’s priority sectors set and reviewed annually in line with National Office Strategy, GAM strategy and Technical Approaches.
·         Identify corporate donor priorities and intelligence on possible opportunities.
·         Raise Local Income Grants as per WVK set Targets for each Financial Year as per the National Resource Development Plan.
·         Communicate Local income funding opportunities & other relevant information to relevant stakeholders;
·         Technical Specialists in Quality Assurance, Grant Finance etc.
·         Develop appropriate products to market to corporates, individuals, and local foundations eg Banks, Communication organizations, among others.

·         Coordinate the National Office in designing programs that leverage unique, high value contributions of foundations, individuals, local and multinational companies
·         Proactively provide donor updates on existing grants and keep the donor relations on course;
·         Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and other corporate bodies to maximize value.
·         In collaboration with Operations, coordinate donor exposure to WVK’s work with an aim of expressing our wide capacity;
·         Coordinate leadership interaction with donors both new and existing;
·         Coordinate donor engagement meetings and ensure representation of WVK at all high profile meetings.
·         Actively network and initiate strategic meetings between Corporates/donors representatives and National Director/designee

Qualifications
·         A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass communications or other related training with post graduate qualifications from a recognized university is desired.
·         At least six years’ experience in NGO resource development.
·         Previous experience in a busy corporate entities in communications, public relations, print, and or electronic media is preferred
·         Professional membership in Marketing Association of Kenya; Public Relations Society of Kenya, Chartered Institute of Marketing or other relevant professional body.
·         Must have a good command of both spoken and written English.
·         Ability to write creatively and edit communication narratives or resources and reports with good photography skills
·         Established good media contacts
·         Excellent computer skills; Graphic Design and desktop publishing skills an added advantage
·         Should be computer literate and experienced in the use of basic software programmes.

Faith & Development Program Officer
The Program Officer- Faith & development will be responsible for providing both spiritual formation and nurture for both staff and organization by reinforcing WV Christian foundation, identity and witness and hence influencing both WV programming.
In addition the position also contributes to the quality of our programs through supporting the integration of the various faith and development approaches in processes and capacity enhancement of our staff and partners. The position is a key driver to the realization of WVI’s Faith and Development strategic intent in East Africa region.
Responsibilities
Coordinate Staff Spiritual Formation Activities
·         Equip and develop small group leaders for strategic leadership in leading staff towards Christ Centered lives that will translate to deliberate witness in the work of Peace Protection and Opportunity for all
·         Facilitate availability of relevant Spiritual formation materials being careful to include areas of peace, protection and opportunity that will influence Faith and Development
·         Brainstorm, plan and roll out relevant topics and areas of focus on spiritual focus that should be engaged to staff
·         Review and analyze the relevance and value add of the materials provided to staff and how they have been utilized
·         Mobilize prayer at the regional level
·         Coordinate Day of Prayer for East Africa
·         Be the point person on prayer updates of the Region to the Office of Prayer ministry
Program Integration
·         Participate and support National offices in rolling out Faith & Dev. Different project approaches (Celebrating Families, Channels of hope, and empowered world view
·         Assist in documenting for evidence of impact of the different F&D models
·         Support the Christian Commitments Director in reviewing NO technical programs in faith and development, CWB reports and other program related reports.

Internal Audit Associate Director
This is a senior management position that provides strategic leadership to the Audit Function of World Vision Kenya (WVK) in the provision of independent objective assurance and consulting activity of the organization’s operations.
In particular, the incumbent plays an advisory and consulting role to the WVK Board Audit and Risk Committee, WVK Senior Leadership and Senior Management Team. This advisory role includes but is not limited to providing advice on risk management, internal controls systems and their impact on the operations of the organization.
The incumbent will be expected to exhibit and effectively communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
·         Provide technical guidance and direction in the Annual Audit Planning Process and compile draft audit plans for discussion, review and approval by the RAD, WVK Leadership and the WVK Board.
·         Advice WVK Management on the formulation of risk management strategies and policies and all operations areas of the organization with a view of ensuring all management policies adequately mitigate the risks identified – this role will not include the development of the actual policies and systems.
·         Foster effective engagement with the WVK Board Audit and Risk Committee on the performance of the Audit Function.
People Management and Capacity Building
·         Ensure effective performance management for direct reports, and provide input in the performance management of indirect reports (Internal Auditors; Assistant Internal Auditor) as necessary.
·         Participate in recruitment of audit staff as required.
·         Provide capacity building to WVK Leadership and Management regarding the role of Internal Audit in Risk management and in the WV Risk-based integrated audit approach from time to time.
·         Ensure continuous professional development for the Audit Team either as individuals or as a team by facilitating their attendance at professional seminars and trainings.
·         Ensure adequate capacity building of the audit team on operational and financial innovations and new initiatives for effective audit assurance
Quality Assurance
·         Perform quality reviews of audit assignments and provide guidance to the Senior Internal Auditor (SIA) regarding:
·         Quality audit standards to be observed and maintained by all auditors in the course of their work
·         Develop and periodically review audit tools to enable audit staff perform their roles efficiently and effectively.
·         Provide on-the-job technical support during field work with the team members and on site review as necessary
·         Develop a system to ensure the quality of work done by the Audit Team is regularly reviewed and appraised and corrective action taken when necessary.
·         Ensure timely issue of audit reports, audit performance and trends of the National Office to WVK Senior Management and Leadership.
·         Provide quarterly reports to the RAD regarding the execution and accomplishment of the Annual Audit Plan, and other reporting requirements as may be requested from time to time.
Technical Support
·         Guide and supervise the Audit Team in executing risk-based integrated audits of the National Office (NO) in accordance with stipulated auditing standards (IIA, WV GIA) as will be planned at the start of each FY.
·         Lead the Audit Team in participating in the audits of the National Office as may be planned by WV GIA.
·         Provide technical support to WVK Senior Leadership and Management in preparing for National Office audits, as well as ensuring timely follow up of audit implementation.

Qualifications
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
·         Must have a university degree in Commerce, Accounting/Business Management/Finance. A post-graduate degree is preferred.
·         Must be a qualified CPA or ACCA with an up-to-date membership status. Professional memberships in CIA/CISA/CFE are also required.
·         Must have prior working experience of ten years. At least six years must be in Audit (Public or private institutions), two of which should be at a senior supervisory level. Experience in accredited audit firms and/or in a Non-Governmental organization is preferred.
·         Must have experience with personal computing, email and general office productivity software (Microsoft Office Suite). A working knowledge of computerized accounting systems (e.g. Sun System) would be an added advantage.
