The prime function of this role is to
support the MOVE team in all aspects of KPI and other reporting. The role
holder will track all aspects of performance in the end-to-end logistics
process and ensure that appropriate escalations are made when targets are
missed.
This role holder is to drive accurate reporting at a management and
transactional level in order to ensure that all aspects of the MOVE process and
systems, especially SAP, in KBL are accurate and provide trustworthy data for
management reporting and decision making.

Qualifications

A University degree in a business
related field, statistics, finance or a related field is a requirement.

Understanding of end to end logistics

Experience of formalized performance
management and reporting (KPIs)
·
Awareness of contract management
terms and reporting will be an added advantage

The prime function of this role is to
collect and collate data support the Transport team (including the hauliers) in
all aspects of KPI and other reporting. The role holder will be responsible to
ensure performance metrics are captured correctly and reported on time to all
relevant stakeholders. The significance of this role is critical to enable
managers have full visibility of actual performance since traditional
executional logistics are outsourced to 3rd party providers. This role holder
will be the primary support of the Analytics Manager to drive accurate
reporting at a management and transactional level in order to ensure that all
aspects of the Transportation process and systems, especially SAP, in KBL are
accurate and provide trustworthy data for management reporting and decision
making.

Managing 4 Hauliers with 600 vehicles
in their fleets of 3 sizes across 3 categories.

Management of 2 distinct warehouse
plants within KBL adds complexity to financial reconciliations.
·
Managing reverse logistics – empties
returns, mop-ups when necessary
·
Manage a 3rd Party running the
Control Tower on behalf of KBL and the 4 Hauliers.
·
Performance Management – The role
holder will understand the importance accurate data capture and reporting,
trending and analysing to reveal the key insights in
·
performance and enable the management
team to drive correct actions in the MOVE part of Supply Chain.

Continuous Improvement – the role
holder will be expected to be flexible and embrace change, continually looking
for ways to improve everything they do. They will use

various continuous improvement tools
and techniques to solve problems.

will be expected to be meticulous in detail and disciplined in approach to

the transportation loss report. To report on transport sustainability in
market.
·
To maintain and issue the
transportation portion of the Logistics KPI dashboard.
·
Update visual performance management
in every operational area in transportation portion of Move.
Qualifications

Transport Manager- KBL
The following role has been created
as part of the new Transporters’ contracts implementation for KBL. The
Logistics function in KBL has been redesigned to take account of the
outsourcing of logistics operations and the proposed move to operating a Control
Tower to manage Hauliers’ fleets. The role holder is responsible for management
of the hauliers to deliver on Logistics KPI’s in KBL as determined by business
strategy and in line with KBL operations and service level agreements and
governed by the prevailing contract.
Responsibilities

Management of Haulier daily
commitments on trucks based on KBL orders
·
Ensure timely availability of truck
fleet to meet daily business targets for beer with trucks that meet KBL set
standards.

Ensure hauliers move trucks from
outer yard to empties yard to weigh bridges to Beer Loading yard as required
·
Ensure Hauliers measure daily
performance and report weekly and monthly to KBL
·
Case deliveries approximately at 5.5m
HLs pa; Over 100 Customers.; Service OTIF: 97% target.
·
Managing 4 Hauliers with 300 vehicles
in their fleets of 1 size.; reverse logistics – empties returns, mop-ups when
necessary

Lead a 3rd Party running the Control
Tower on behalf of KBL and the 4 Hauliers.
