One (1) Post
Reporting to the Telecommunications
Engineer, the overall responsibility will be planning, designing and
construction masts, construction and maintenance of repeater houses.
Duties & Responsibilities

Drafting
and proposing rigging & safety policy.
·
Planning,
designing and commissioning masts and solar brackets.
·
Preparing
mechanical workshop activity plan and budget.
·
Formulating
safety regulations on masts climbing and their enforcement.
·
Maintaining
inventory of rigging equipment and accessories.
·
Ensuring
availability of rigging accessories for effective routine maintenance of masts.
·
Ensuring
safety of rigging equipment.
·
Controlling
mechanical workshop stores.
·
Supervising,
appraising telecommunication riggers.
Job Requirements
·
Diploma
in Mechanical Engineering.
·
At
least five (5) years working experience in a relevant field.
·
Experience
in welding, fabrications and rigging

Reporting
to the Telecommunications Rigging Superintendent, the overall responsibility
will be to construct and maintain radio masts and fabrication of solar
brackets.

Designing, fabricating and installing
masts and solar brackets.
·
Preparing and implementing routine
maintenance schedules for radio masts and repeater houses.
·
Painting masts and replacing worn out
mast accessories.
·
Installing communication antennae on
lattice masts.
·
Installing brackets for mobile
radios.
·
Ensuring proper earthling of masts.
·
Supervising telecommunication
riggers.
Job
Requirements
·
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
·
At least three (3) years experience
in a relevant field.
·
Experience in welding, fabrications
and rigging.
