Finance & Admin Manager Job in Nairobi, Kenya

Job Title: Finance & Admin Manager 
 
Location: Nairobi
 
Salary: 100k–150k

Our client is a fast growing manufacturer and importer of furniture materials. 

They seek to hire a finance & admin manager to review financial reports, monitor accounts, and prepare activity reports and financial forecasts
  

Key Responsibilities
·                     Manage and coordinate and Finance and Administration department
·                     Build upon existing systems, processes and policies to ensure key administrative functions run smoothly and on a strong foundation
·                     Ensure adequate controls are in place to support judicious use of company resources
·                     Manage short-term cash flows, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and receipts from customers and balancing inflows and outflows
·                     Oversee and verify key reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
·                     Ensure timely financial data and reports are available to support senior management decision making
·                     Reconciling of supplier accounts and all banking
·                     Approves cash disbursement’s by verifying check amounts against invoices, authorizing checks, and wire transfers
·                     Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls, and protecting the organization value by keeping information confidential.
·                     Meeting financial standards by providing accounting department annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances and implementing corrective actions
·                     Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities
Key Requirements
·                     Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
·                     CPA K holder
·                     At least 5 years’ experience in similar experience
·                     Deep professional knowledge of finance and accounting
·                     Significant exposure to HR administration is an added advantage
·                     Good communication and interpersonal skills
·                     Possess high sense of integrity and confidentiality
