Position: Legal
Clerk
Responsibilities:
·
Drafting
sale agreements on SIC’s various projects;
·
Reviewing
agreements from SIC’s service providers;
·
Review
of agreements from Sellers of Land to SIC;
·
Negotiating
contracts on behalf of SIC;
·
Drafting
Transfers;
·
Researching
on different areas of the law and rendering opinions on the same;
·
Preparing
and dispatching correspondences;
·
Communicating
and meeting SIC’s Clients;
·
Assisting
the Legal Officer in securitizing title documents
·
Entering
all data and information, maintaining electronic copies as well as hard copies
when necessary. This includes records of clients, production laws, meetings and
more.
·
Attending
administrative meetings, retrieving information and documents for legal staff,
handling telecommunications for the office, contacting various agencies to
gather information, recording all interactions and preparing checklists.
·
Providing
administrative support to the office however needed.
·
Managing
paper and electronic file organization, scanning and copying files, completing
binder creation, indexing, coding and labeling tasks.
·
Coordinating
with the records department when gathering, documenting and storing client
information to make sure that the tasks are completed in accordance with the
procedures.
·
Completing
research for legal staff and preparing documents, draft correspondence,
summarizing records and findings and write up briefs, petitions and other legal
documents.
Qualifications & Skills
·
Diploma
in Law and Diploma in project management.
·
Must
be very organized and detail-oriented person who knows how to manage their time
and juggle multiple tasks at once.
·
S/he
must be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
·
Must
be highly professional and trustworthy as the job entails a lot of confidential
information.
·
Must
be a go getter, enthusiastic and ambitious
