seeks to hire an Assistant Accountant - Receivables
Purpose: The Assistant Accountant – Receivables is responsible for revenue and bank reconciliations, including coordination of the order to cash cycle and credit management.
Major Accountabilities and ActivitiesPurpose: The Assistant Accountant – Receivables is responsible for revenue and bank reconciliations, including coordination of the order to cash cycle and credit management.

Perform
customer accounts reconciliations.
·
Debt
reporting for management accounts & credit control.
·
Customer
master central creation and maintenance and credit limit updates including bank
guarantees, approved credit & contracts.
·
E-statement
master data maintenance & update.
·
Monthly
revenue analysis & reconciliations with dispatch report.
·
Output
tax analysis for VAT 3 filing.
·
Coordinate
audit activities relating to the section, preparation of required documents and
ensure implementation of the recommendations.
·
Assist
in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports as well as
analysis and reconciliation of general ledger postings.
·
Bank
reconciliations.
·
Customer
open items clearing.
·
Supports
the Financial Accountant-Revenue &Treasury and Commercial team in debt
collection by providing accurate customer data and assist in follow up for
payment on due accounts.
·
Timely
provision of outputs;
Qualifications & Experience
·
A
bachelors degree in Accounting or related discipline.
·
Possess
CPA qualification
·
Must
have at least 2 years accounting experience and preferably in the cement
industry.
·
Must
be proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office especially Excel software.
·
Training
in customer service will be an added advantage.
