Programme Officer
Reporting to the Director, Diaspora
Affairs, Internship, Mentoring and Volunteerism, the Officer will be
responsible for the following tasks:
Responsibilities
·
Implementation of the strategic
plans, programmes and projects of the directorate in collaboration with other
departments and stakeholders;
·
Offering advice on directorate
regulations and guidelines;
·
Assisting in the development of legal
frameworks on Diaspora, Internship and Volunteerism affairs time to time;
·
Prepare monthly and quarterly
progress reports; and
·
Perform any other duty as assigned by
the Director, Diaspora Affairs, Internship, Mentoring and Volunteerism.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in International
Relations, Youth Development or related field.

Master’s degree in Business

Photographer/Videographer
Responsibilities
·
Scheduling and setting up photo
shoots;
·
Capturing photos during government
functions;
·
Editing photos into usable clips and
multimedia products for web and social media platforms;

Maintaining the equipment (cameras
and lighting system);
·
Compiling and maintaining a photo
album and archive and image processing;
·
Seeking out appropriate and
captivating photographic subjects and opportunities;
·
Planning, directing, organizing and
shooting of videos of government events, projects and achievements;

Video editing;
·
Filming, importing footage, logging,
editing and building DVDs;
·
Uploading videos and adding subtitles
to videos on the government website and social media platforms; and

Qualifications
·
Be a Kenyan citizen.

Be a holder of at least a Diploma in
Photography, Film/Video Production (Camera option), Journalism or Mass
Communication from a recognized institution in Kenya.

Have relevant knowledge and
experience of not less than five (5) years in the Public Service or Private
Sector in the portfolio applied for.

Evidence of portfolio showing diverse
topics photographed.
·
Strong experience of a wide range of
location photography.

Experience of all major photo editing
software packages.

Be proficient in video camera
operation.

Director ,Governor’s Press Service
Responsibilities
·
Providing strong and effective
leadership and management of the Governor’s Press Service;

Leading and developing standards and
regulations in the Governor’s Press Unit;

Planning and covering the Governor’s
functions and the County Government’s activities in electronic and print for
dissemination to the media and the public;
·
Preparing media supplements,
documentaries, press release/media features;
·
Building and maintaining a database
of news/information on the Governors; and
·
Any other duties as may be assigned
by the Governor.
Qualifications

Be a holder of at least a Bachelor’s
degree in any of the following disciplines: Mass Communication, Journalism,

Branding Officer
Responsibilities
·
The Branding Officer/Graphic Designer
will be responsible for the following:
·
Plan, develop and direct marketing
efforts for the County brand;
·
Identify and prioritize the County’s
marketing and branding needs;
·
Coordinate various marketing
initiatives for the County in partnership with the national government, the
private sector and key stakeholders in the areas of investment, tourism,
culture, national heritage, sports and commerce;

Develop and implement a County brand
strategy;

designing art and copy layouts;
·
Support and lead the design process
of reports, presentations and publications for printing, electronic

artworks, photos, charts and other graphic elements;
