Cargo Customer Services Coordinator
As a Cargo Customer Service Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that the customer service provided by the Qatar Airways (QR) cargo department meet the local customers requirement and to have a single point of contact for queries, information and concerns. You will enhance customer experience and resolve queries within our stated service level.

Responsibilities

·         Handle inquires /problems by the QR cargo clients and liaise with the necessary relevant sub units of the cargo department in order to communicate clearly with clients of QR with regards to QR cargo service failure.
·         Coordinate with QR Cargo global service team and revenue management team in order to respond to quires on shipments to clients.
·         Communicate and be regularly in touch with the other station and head office to ensure that all customers are satisfied with the feedback and support they receive from QR cargo.
·         React immediately and appropriately on any queries of irregularities or discrepancies and ensure the concerned departments is involved to resolve the same.
·         Produce weekly reports and forward the same to the global cargo customer service manager and local management.
·         Create maximum awareness of QR cargo products and services to customers who request such information and provide management with any market intelligence on the strengths, weakness, threats and opportunities of QR with regards to services and operations.
·         Ensure the shipment mishandled is traced and tracked timely and report such mishandled shipment.
·         Recommend desired changes requested by the customers with proper justification in order to contribute continuously in improving QR cargo service levels to better heights.

Qualifications

·         You will need to hold a Bachelors degree and a certificate in computer applications – MS Office is a must. You will have a minimum 4 years of job related airline experience out of which 2 years in the relevant field. Customer service and interpersonal skills is essential.
·         You must have knowledge of Cargo reservation and tracking system and overall knowledge of cargo operations and set up. You will need to have a very good command in English and be eligible to live and work in Nairobi, Kenya.

Senior Cargo Customer Services
This role will be involved in providing customer service functions, such as interaction with GHA on behalf of QR Cargo in both import and export matters and as well with QR Cargo sales team.
You will secure proper customer service support to enable station to meet and exceed the set cargo targets, identify the needs and improve cargo customer service performance for the local station and reconsolidate booking requests from various agents / customers using QR Cargo systems and GHA input.
You will ensure full compliance at all times of safety and security regulations and procedures as per host state and company requirements.

Responsibilities

·         Reconsolidate booking request from freight forwarders and direct customers
·         Coordinate with all regional stations and GSAs to ensure the input accurate booking data.
·         Coordinate service recovery to protect customer experience
·         Produce weekly, monthly customer experience related reports
·         Distribute cargo related information to all concerned parties
·         Maintain a close coordination between QR departments and customers by ensuring their shipments are transferred, delivered on time, and correct priority is given.

Qualifications

·         You have minimum of 3 years of experience, at least 2 of them in customer service in the Airline/Forwarder industry.
·         You have a Diploma or Associate Degree or equivalent, have advanced level in MS Office.
·         It is an advantage if you have some knowledge in TACT regulations, IATA dangerous goods regulations or Cargo reservations.
·         You must have good communication skills, and advanced level of English language skills and currently be eligible to live and work in Nairobi, Kenya

Cargo Operations Agent
As a Cargo Operations Agent you will provide cargo operations functions including interaction with Ground Handling Agents (GHAs) for both import and export cargo. You will secure proper operational support to enable stations to meet the cargo target. You will be responsible to identify needs and improve cargo services and operational services for the station.

Responsibilities

·         You will liaise with GHA and with Head Office Cargo departments to ensure a high quality service is provided by QR.
·         Support import customers for their clearance of their cargo.
·         Flight planning with maximum capacity utilization of the flight capacity, control and operations. You will maintain a close coordination with QR space control by ensuring their shipments are transferred with maximum utilization of space.
·         Coordinate with Cargo claims officers at head office, handling of discrepancies at station and handling all administrative issues at station.
·         You will provide service reports including preparation systems accounting updates on every flight departures.
·         Ensure notifications are sent correctly on cargo arrival information.

Qualifications

·         You will need to be a minimum Diploma, Associate degree or high school qualified and have had a statistical studies education. Your MS office skills must be at an advanced level and having prior experience in managing cargo systems would be an added advantage.
·         A minimum of 2 years in airline cargo/airfreight operations. Previous cargo sales experience would be an advantage. You will have good communication skills and must be legally eligible to live and work in Nairobi, Kenya

Cargo Sales Manager
In this position you will provide leadership and manage the direct cargo sales and marketing activities of Qatar Airways Cargo in the assigned region. You will strategically develop and deliver new cargo accounts revenue targets in Hyderabad maximising the return from the existing market whilst identifying and penetrating new markets as appropriate.

Responsibilities

·         Structuring and implementing business and marketing plan to optimise Qatar Airways revenue and presence in the assigned regions.
·         Managing and expanding business in the assigned territory.
·         Managing accounts against clear revenue targets, cost of sales and QR compliance criteria.
·         Developing and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with Global Corporate Accounts.
·         Contributing to the overall QR Cargo formulation and implementation of global cargo sales strategy to maximise short and long term revenue opportunities.
·         Developing and implementing effective marketing of QR Cargo range of products and services.
·         Supporting development of specific products requested by customers and/or evolving within the industry.
·         Negotiating short, medium and long-term pricing initiatives to mutual benefit.
·         Analyse key market data .
·         Establish the department and team objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives, along with overseeing employees, directing daily activities, recruiting. Training and developing to ensure high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications

·         To join our team in this role you will need a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in cargo sales and marketing with knowledge on Cargo Operations and a minimum of 5 years in Airfreight Sales Management.
·         You will have strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot market and industry trends , strong experience in budgeting and planning with proven experience negotiating and working within a multi-cultural environment.
·         You would need to have complete product knowledge and the Market practices of the areas under jurisdiction along with knowledge on the IATA/ TACT regulations.
