Finance & Accounts Manager
Reporting to the Chief Manager, Finance, Human Resources and Administration, the Senior Manager, Finance and Accounts the will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:-
Responsibilities
·         Oversee all issues regarding the financing of KOTDA activities and financial incentives for developers and businesses.

·         Develop and implement sound financial management policies and procedures.
·         Forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

·         Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
·         Guides other departments by interpreting government accounting policy and applying it all the operations of the organization.
·         Plan and coordinate timely preparation of annual Work Plans and budget estimates.
·         Develop and manage internal controls and compliance.
·         Coordinate Public Private Partnership program strategies and resource mobilization.
·         Analyze and interpret financial reports and other accounting records.
·         Ensure prudent and optimal utilization of funds.
·         Manage proper records of financial transactions.
·         Oversee preparation of the final Annual Statement of Accounts in accordance with accounting standards and procedures.
·         Undertake financial risk management.
·         Ensure compliance with PMF Act
·         Monitor and evaluate funds applications and accountability.

Qualifications

·         Master’s degree in any of the following fields: Commerce (Finance/Accounts option), Business Administration, Economics or any other relevant Master’s degree from a recognized institution.
·         Bachelor’s degree in: Commerce B.com in Finance/Accounts option or its equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
·         At least six years’ experience, three of which must be in a management level in Public Service or Private Sector Organization.
·         CPA (K) or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
·         Possession of relevant advanced accounting computer skills.
·         Attended Project Development and management course from a recognized institution.
·         Meet the requirements of leadership and integrity as prescribed in Chapter six (6) of the constitution.
·         Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
